The constant vilification of teachers is one of the many reasons teachers are quitting in waves. 🤦🏾‍♀️ On a positive note, I love seeing you interact with your students. They did an awesome job presenting their genre. I wanted to sing right along with them. 🎤

Never knew your surname! Ms. Robinson, I have a teen that has struggled with organization and turning assignments in - even though she completed an assignment! Ugh. Anyway… she was diagnosed being on the spectrum which explained a lot. Simply because I can organize my work life, I cannot teach those soft skills to my teen. I had to seek out ABA therapy outside of insurance resources for her because it’s her senior year and she can’t afford to miss turning in an assignment. I’m glad you talk about the teacher-parent(s) relationship because it’s a huge factor in a child’s success/development! ❤

I like it when one of your students stood up to judge and he said he had to reject because the other student didn't sing "Love" during the presentation. That was funny! I know I was singing it when the song played. Sounded like an assignment that went well and had good participation.

I think leaving the email to respond to later is such a great choice, and I agree with everything you said regarding that situation. Frustrating, but you handle it well. Love your vlogs!

Yes, it is a smart idea to wait to respond to a parent concern when the message has the wrong tone to it. I wonder if things would be different if parents wrote their concerns on paper rather than fire off an email without thinking before pressing the send button. If poor work habits are not taken care of at home, then how are teachers expected to work miracles? You cannot make chicken salad out of chicken scratch. Thank you for your video presentation. So I'm seriously contemplating homeschooling my 10th grade daughter and I remember something I saw you do with your kids but I don't know on which vlogs you mentioned it on to get that better understanding how to do it. You said I while back, you taught your kids Greek or Latin root words so they can figure out other words but I forgot how the system worked. Can you please help
