That is very cool, Dale! That might be a fun project for young children to try. It doesn't really matter that the grape tomatoes won't grow true to the originals. Whenever I get tomatoes that I don't like, I incorporate them into sauce or salsa. I can't wait to see your Liberation Tulips, as they are one of my favorite flowers. My husband and I attended the annual Tulip Festival in Ottawa several years ago and learned the history of the Liberation of the Netherlands. I really enjoyed the trip through your garden and garden projects.

If you decide to plant potatoes in a raised bed you could try some hardware cloth (or something similar) under the cardboard. That might discourage the critters. Looks like another great garden for you, Dale

What a treat to get an early Spring garden video! Thanks for sharing! I have also been transitioning to container planting closer to the house as I get older. Much easier to care for and easier on the body! 😉👍

1/4" or 1/2" galvanized "Hardware Cloth" would protect those beds from burrowing nibblers beneath them.

Looking good. I really need to get myself out there but the weather has been awful, rain and cold... coldest April on record. Maybe great things will be done this month. Best Wishes, Brendan.

You have been busy! I have planted lettuce, onions, and turnip seeds. In my area the first frost date is supposed to be May 15 but it is supposed to be 87 degrees here tomorrow! I think everything will bolt. Thanks for the update.

Hi Dale, nice vlog. I'm going to try the pallet planting. Wondering if you've grown squash in pots/containers before and how they do. Tempted to try that as well. Thanks!
