In December 2023, two Dallas moms went viral after sharing their terrifying experience at Harlowe’s Mxm Restaurant and Bar. Breyanna Knox and Nakia Robertson claimed that they received drinks that ultimately sent them to the hospital, a claim that sparked an investigation by Dallas Police. Despite the bar employees denying wrongdoing, dozens of others came forward and shared similar experiences after receiving drinks at Harlowe’s. After weeks of investigation, the owners of Harlowe’s decided to shut down. What could this mean for those affected? And what measures are being taken to prevent similar situations in the future?

I was drugged at a night club in New Port, beach Ca. I felt something was wrong with me. I was dizzy, couldn't walk, blurred vision . I tried so hard to throw up. It didnt work. My friend took me the hospital. I had toxicology test done, to find out i was drugged with GHB, known as the date R*p drug. It was the bartenders. Two males and a women. Got a lawyer, sued and the place. The place was shut down. That same night a young lady lost her life! Next thing i know talking to the police. That experience rocked my world. Because a young women died.

This happened to a former neighbor of mine. In a weird twist of fate she had to take some heavy medications for a serious illness. Luckily that helped her build up a tolerance to many street drugs so she was cleat headed enough to refuse the random "gentlemen" when he offered to drive her home.

Happened to me years ago. Luckily I started to feel it instantly and still was able to get to my car. It was like 20 degrees outside...THAT one thing of it being so cold forced me to throw up. I was legit foaming at the mouth. I had to call my guy at the time to come get me ...the bar was only 10 minutes away from my home. It was definitely the bartender

Bars will run a line, a tap, from the basement to a particular nozzle, with GHB in it; that way to the security cameras, "no one put anything in her drink - look at the camera footage"; meanwhile the drug is in the drink because the bartender used that particular nozzle.

So sorry this happened to these ladies and others. Back in the early 70s this almost happened to me and my ex at a "friend's" party. I just happened to overhear the wife/hostess asking her husband if they should drop some acid in the non-alcoholic punch they made.🙀😠 It was a BYOB party & I immediately got our bottle off of the table. I could be wrong, but as a nurse that’s had to run a lot of drug screens on patients, amphetamine is a stimulant and you will feel more awake, not more drowsy. Adderall shows up as amphetamine on drug screens along with various other things. Her symptoms and her drug screen don’t add up to make sense. And anybody can manipulate a text screen to say what they want, for all we know they could have been texting all night and she deleted her part of the conversation, go back and look at the screen, they were talking she just deleted her part to make it look suspicious. Nothing about their story adds up.

This happened to me twice and it was all for fun and giggles. It took me days to be able to use a fork and knife and navigate steps. Truly bizarre and scary. My dr said she’d been seeing a clear uptick in women being roofied.

Putting a drug, unknowingly into someone’s drink is one of the lowest and sleaziest thing one can do. I was poisoned once with a powerful laxative. It lowered my blood pressure and ended up in hospital.

I heard about this but the restaurant is in #ArlingtonTX #Pluckers back in December. Clearly a male&female couple were drugged. Wonder if the same employee worked there💭🤔

How about when you felt bad, weird, or strange after that first shot you probably shouldn't have proceeded to continue to accept free drinks. Don't be so thirsty that the word "free" causes you to abandon your better judgement.

@Mark-pz3lq No, because I actually liked him. I was going to go home with him anyways. He didn't have to drug me. I found out in the morning after looking in his phone. Some people are so use to losing that they can't recognize when they're winning.

Many if these women are liars for instance the brick lady brought her lies here and caused a major war. She never filed a police report because she lied. Your case was a no harm no foul. I say that cause you had relations with him, found out and no police report but you still bring It up. Are you still with him?

I always pre-gamed before entering a bar/club (and took an Uber back home). It's cheaper, and more important, you know what you put in your own drink

I believe them... Story time: I use to live in Dallas, went to a bar/club at Vinnettis located in Addison, tx. Me & my mom went, got drinks, and food... But the waitress brought out the receipt to pay before we got anything, which i questioned , which obviously irritated her... but obviously I was irritated too, she then said it was protocol ..... I went to the restroom , came back, my drink was at the table... But my mom was sitting at the table still, so I tasted the drink which tasted a little funny, so I had my mom to taste it and she said the same... So I mixed it up a little and when I took that next sip, my head, my chest... Everything instantly felt on fire! So we left, without even finishing the food... For the next 4 days I had the most terrible headache, burning chest, coughed up blood, finally went to the hospital, which they said .. whatever it was , probably was out of my system already bc they didn't see anything.. I called the establishment and asked them to run the cameras, they then said... They don't have cameras... I told them the waitress name, time, date, etc. i didn't want to call the police because I had some legal issues going on in another state.... But I went back every day after that when it was time for the waitresses to come to work, sat outside waiting and never saw that waitress again, I was going to beat her up so bad... But I think she was. Fired! I no longer live in Dallas ... But they need to go investigate there as well!!!

I've definitely gotten a drink at a bar I've never been to before and gotten really intoxicated after just one drink. I wholeheartedly believe I was drugged! My friend had to take me home and I couldn't even keep my eyes open in the car!

Really amazing that people are out at bars partying. The sad thing is that many restaurants and bars don't have the best health and safety standards. Best to frequent restaurants where you know the standards and the people.
