@@Traxxion I got it all put together and it is brilliant, what an amazing difference! Nose-dive while braking is all gone, feels so much more solid. Now I just need to learn how to properly adjust sag and the preload lol But altogether, the bike feels so much more planted and just all-around safer. Thanks again for the great product and thank Dan again for the awesome help he gave, you guys rock :)

Is this a problem you have encountered before? Does it come from the suspension? I think my wheels are true and I have Dana Beads in the tubes for balancing. I have newer tires on and it did the same thing with the older tires. If it is something you have dealt with can you explain what is happening in a simple way my brain can comprehend? Just worried I will go through the trouble of installing and then nothing will change. I have dealt with this for the last two years and it makes me not enjoy the bike! If it truly fixes it I would be in heaven!!

@@clintfaile258 Your forks have no low speed damping control... in other words the forks simply don't work on your bike.

We are able to make the OD of the rod larger so it fits closer to the internal piston ring in the bottom of the fork tube. This dramatically improves the rebound by allowing you to use a much thinner oil to get even better control than stock. The thinner oil experiences less viscosity change with temperature, resulting in all around better performance all year.

Your bike has an extremely odd design, with a fork cartridge in one leg only... it is not a damper rod fork. We can upgrade this fork, but it is expensive, and we have to do it in house here at Traxxion. There is no DIY kit available.

Unfortunately, both of those bikes are forks with non-rebuildable cartridges in them. We only offer our top of the line AK-20 kits for them, with special fork caps, which offer compression and rebound adjustment, one per side.

@@Traxxion I was emailing with Dan last week, I came looking for shocks for my oh so poorly suspended bike and he suggested the rod kit as a very good upgrade and I decided yesterday to try them. I have a set of a competitors offering in my other bike for several years now and they too were a huge improvement.

The rods are spec'd to fit more tightly than stock to improve rebound damping and also allow for use of thinner oil for less change in damping over temperature ranges.
