I'm at the wolf/shag look right now after buzzing it January of this year ! I had a lot mental and decided to go through with it. My current partner hasn't EVER seen my hair how it is now other than pictures but is so supportive when I express how much my hair is growing. I'm a dude who typically has long hair. I buzzed it about a year ago and I've been stuck ever since. IMHO the first 4 weeks look so good, but then it's just a bit awkward looking until week 30 or so. Then it's fantastic again. 6 months is a long commitment when the clippers are right there.

I'm growing out an (almost) buzz cut. Currently at week 20! The last 4 weeks has SUCKED. I have multiple cow licks and now I can't style my hair forwards to hide it it's been super difficult to manage. Every time I almost cave to go and get it trimmed and styled at the hairdresser to make it more bearable, I watch this video and it brings me back into patience. I keep thinking, in a few weeks the extra length will be so worth it! Trying to go as long as possible before getting it 'balanced' at the salon. I did trim my own nape around a month ago to get rid of the rats tail that was growing 😅 Wishing all of us the best for our hair journeys ❤

I shaved my head a week ago so this is a nice reference to what I'll get! My starting buzz is her at like 3 weeks so I'll get more length faster but other than that. I'll definitely do a few trims as well, looking at the way she did it seems really good and doesn't affect the actual length too much :)

I love things like this, I am growing from a buzz cut too. It's been almost two years since the last time I shaved my head, and I have trimmed a few times to get my hemline even and get rid of layers. Finally a little bit past collarbone length now. It's a process and you can't really control how fast your hair grows, just give it lots of delicate care and take good care of your body, so that the hair you grow will be of good quality.

My hair is like exactly at week 36 (1:20) I got a “boys” cut for the first time a couple months ago and now I’m growing it out, It’s crazy this video got recommended for me, how does KZfaq know what I look like??
