I went to a lot of cities and can agree with this. All expats said Nha Trang was the best. However it would probably be more enjoyable to live in Đa Nãng. It has everything. Nha Trang would probably have warmer weather for more of the year

I like your video. Very informative. I live in the states and have been looking for several years at the Philippines and possibly Thailand to relocate to. I also have considered Vietnam but haven't done much as far as research goes. The language for English speaking people is most common in the Philippines. The people in Vietnam truly capture my attention. They are very talented and can overcome anything. The people in the Philippines smile all the time and are very loving people. Thailand from what I have seen looks to have some very spicy food and that would be very enjoyable for me. I guess each country holds it's own treasures for both tourists as well as expats. Great info and great content. I have become one of your subscribers. 👍👍

I love buying fresh fruits at the local markets in Vietnam where the local people shop. if you go to Sai Gon (HCMC) stay away from BEN THANH market ( District 1) this place is well known as a rip off place. They sell mainly to tourists, they sell things with triple prices. The locals rarely shop there. At Ben Thanh market, you have to bargain the price down 75%, only buy things 25% the price they tell you. Fortunately, most local markets in Vietnam that sell to the locals, they sell the same price to the tourists, meaning no need to bargain much.

Last week, I went to Wendy's to order a quick bite. The actual cost was over $11.00; I used a coupon and the cost came down to almost $9.00. The food was stale and unappetizing. The service was slow and inaccurate; the clerk entered wrong order. The restaurant closed very early at 9:00PM, so I had to go thru ordering at the drive-in (cannot communicate too well with this kind of ordering). Oh well, you know this is the USA where nothing is right.

We went to all of those sites in less than 6 hours.. we have still 28 days to go.. for us Singspore or Malaysia were much better

1st, inflation is all over the world. 2nd, in Vietnam it depends on the location of the coffee shops. There are places for lower prices. If you want a cheap price, you should avoid the central location of the cities.

OK, I like Jacobs Gold 3-in-1 coffee (10% instant coffee) in Turkiye, so I will buy some when flying out.// The SPAM is around same price as Singapore.//Try the Chiku (the small brown fruit with leaves in your video in the supermarket @13.39)--it should be sweet, juicy and soft if it's ripe.//Wow, the supermarket meat is expensive.//Luggage is cheaper in Turkiye.

I been living in da Nang for 3 years, Love it. Apt prices went way down from Covid, there are many empty apts. Food went up a bit, murderbike rental went down. This vid is a pretty accurate report, but you dont have to pay 2$ for a cup of coffee. You will find good coffee joints for about .80 if you shop. An abundance of food choices. Would take a lifetime to try them all. generally my GF and I spend 2 to 3 $ each for a good meal at noodle joint, about same for a com joint ( rice with a couple sides of meat and veggies, mini buffet. ) Great seafood. 6 BBQ oysters with crushed peanuts for $4, same for scallops. This area the people are much more friendly and laid back than Hanoi, miles of beautiful beaches. Love it. One problem is right now only 30 day tourist visa, so every month you have to leave and re-enter, can do it with long day bus ride, but its no fun. Hope they go back to 90 day visa soon.

We bought cheese from the MMart, but it was moldy.. it seems like there is nothing much safe in the Vietnam to eat... my friend got sick even from the vietnamese coffee..

"...looking for our forever home, now exploring southeast Asia...(?!?)" If so, prices for food, accommodation, etc, etc are not your (or the) relevant consideration! What about the price for a long-term visa? (If one is available, at ANY price.) The new theme of SE Asia is that foreigners may come for a visit, but are unwelcome to stay, unless quite, quite wealthy. Yes, you can wander from country to country, like a gypsy. But you do not want to do this permanently, neither do your subscribers. Therefore, methods & strategies extending beyond the short-term, please...
