it's a bit of a double-edged sword... the girl shouldn't have been there, but the driver could've most likely avoided her... (luckily something like this can't happen where I live, those motorized scooters are banned by law from being used on public roads (this includes bike-lanes, footpaths etc... basically they're only allowed to be used on their own home-lot, but most houses, unless you live rural, don't have very big yards to move around in with those scooters)... they got banned because kids hit too many pedestrians on those scooters... now they're banned for everyone and you rarely see them anymore...

That is not how it works. Are you new to adulting? It doesn't matter what or who is in the road, it is a driver's responsibility to not hit anything. To do so because you're violating the road rules is criminal!!!

whenever I watch shows like these I always wish someone would/could cover the accident my husband and I was in to explain how the HELL we survived. Flipped a soft top convertable going something like 70mph on the freeway. I wasn't wearing my seatbelt (far as I can tell I took it off in my sleep - I was the passenger obviously) but because of freak events was not ejected and probably survived because I had no seatbelt on. The bolts holding my seat to the frame sheered allowing the seat to rotate a quarter turn towards the center console as well as the base to shift down into the foot well a bit - the roll bar on the car caved in. It protected my husband but if my chair hadn't moved it would have killed me - because I -did- move it was wrapped around me and protected me. The way I ended up, if I had my seatbelt on it would have been wrapped around my neck and possibly decapitated me. We were incredibly lucky - a paramedic on their way to work happened to be in a car right behind us. My parents came down to see us in hospital and went over to where the car was towed. The workers gave my parents there condolances not believing anyone could survive the crash. Meanwhile my husband walked away. He had bruses and such all over but his most significant physical injury was a deep cut to his big toe. It scarred. Physically he's fine but it took a long time for him to mentally heal. He did go into a kind of shock when we got to the hospital. I wasn't able to walk away exactly... I had massive roadburn, primarily on my back, arms, neck, and right side. The freakin' road took my clothes clean off. And I did serious damage to the muscle in my right thigh as well as a very deep (to the bone abouts) gash in my left lower leg. But I did walk out of the hospital the next day under my own power - was told I likely wouldn't be able to walk unassisted again and had a 'f- you I'm 18 and I refuse to let my life be over!' reaction. Hurt like hell but I was going to do it damnit!

I was stuck in traffic due to a rollover crash on I-75. By the time we got to the crash scene, the pick up truck was unrecognizable. It was as if the entire truck got squashed by a giant’s foot. Maybe 20ft from the truck were the driver and passenger sitting on a blanket they put for themselves. I really thought someone would have been dead.

In the 3rd accident..everyone is questioning that where were the parents and that parents should be jailed... But as an adult, I know that a parent sometimes has no control over their teenage chid's action. A 14 year child is not that naive that the child is not able to understand what's dangerous or what's wrong My request is not to blame the parents bcoz every one who's gone through teenage knows that sometimes teenagers lie and do what they want to do despite their parent's words of advice. It's soo easy to blame the parents for all small harm that a child faces but sometimes there is only so much that a parent can do.

I predicted that she was on a beta-blocker which covered up the adrenergic symptoms of tachycardia and diaphoresis from the hypoglycemia. I’m a pharmacist so I had an unfair advantage over others who aren’t in the medical field or have knowledge of this “interaction.” I still feel the doctor who prescribed the beta blocker and even the pharmacist who filled it, are both culpable IF they didn’t warn her.

I’m on beta blockers - not for diabetes but I do suffer from mild symptoms of hypoglycemia (throwing up, weakness) if i haven’t eaten correctly, however, my doctor has never advised about not driving or the warning signs of propranolol. But I take it upon myself to read the leaflet inside. Different drugs affect people differently. I understand, but honestly I completely agree with your statement. Too many doctors prescribe things and highlight various basic things that could happen but often forget vital things on small print. For example, I can’t take ibuprofen with it because it may counteract with my propranolol. I do believe in this case, this could’ve possibly be misinformation on the doctors part to the patient, as they’re often in a rush to see the next one and this very well could’ve caused the accident in this case. Sorry I’m late to this, but just wanted to share my input! Have a lovely life (stay safe also, with everything that’s going on - coronavirus, wherever you are.) and I thank nurses and pharmacists and people caring for the elderly who put themselves on the front line! ❤️

If she was not in the road especially the center of the road she'd be still walking and talking and having fun with her friends at school. But put a manslaughter on somebody that was secondary, I don't agree with that. Yes accidents do happen regardless of what y'all say.

A sleepy one controlling 80,000 pounds and didn't plan his trip out ahead of time. Probably messing around in some truck stop playing on social media all day and when it's time to drive sleep catches up to you. Just giving out a likely scenario.i applaud him for pulling over but condemn him for the place he chose. The only time a trucker can get away with something like that is on the rare occasion the right lane is one of those were you can get three or four cars in the one right lane. Then a truck can park to the far right leaving AMPLE room for travel in the right lane. Either way truck drivers please plan out your trips 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 Know were your going to stop. Somebody's life could be depending on it. That's why it's against the law, must laws have been tried and tested. Someone has died this way before that's why it's against the law. GOD BLESS. 🙋🏽‍♂️

At that age, the brain may not be developed enough to be able to comprehend the distance. And esp the distance to moving objects. They have no idea how fast that far away thing will be up on them.. they don't understand that drivers in the street may not spot them & have enough time to stop no matter what, if they just turn out on the street from behind other parked cars, infrastructure & vegetation. They don't think about things like that. Bca their brains are to undeveloped to think about consequences..

I think most of these scenarios are from maybe 15 to 20 years ago because in modern day cars the buzzer would be constantly beeping if you didn't put on your safety belt while in the driver's seat, and now many off new cars will not start until your safety belt has been activated, in fact safety belt safety in cars is so advanced that there would be a light on the dashboard to notify you and in some cars it can also tell whether the passengers in the back of the vehicle have there safety belt on !

I mean it just seems like common sense to me. I've heard some say before that it uncomfortable to wear one, and all I can think is so when you get in a crash and are thrown from your car, that's going to be comfortable?

Driving is a right!! Not a so called privilege. The same people inforcing this lie haven't a clue. If you think about it how can you needing to travel from point A to point B be restrected in anyway when the only thing that has changed from the realization that our rights do not come from anyone or any government entities. Our rights to living our life in a way that We choose as long as we do not infrenge on anyone else's rights its abundantly clear that if it was okay to travel without any infringements by horse and carriage and as we move through the decades we now use vehicles to go from point A to B so it's a play on words that has been used by admiralty law which right off the bat should not apply on land and disclosure I'm not a sovereign citizen but when I looked at Black Law book it became clear to me that we have been brainwashed and ripped off at the same time by the very entity that should be working for us. It would be like choosing any situation and saying that is no longer your right it has become a privilege overnight and guess what we can take that away from you because it's a privilege. yeah my ability to go from point A to point B should be my choosing if I can do it on a bicycle why can't I add two more wheels and do it in a car and there's even the word play on that between vehicle and conveyance which is what it's really called. The right to travel that right has been stolen anyway look into it you'll be amazed

or better yet why can't we just erase the law that says we need a license to be able to drive. why not just be 16-18 years of age or older to be able to drive? i have been driving cars since i was 11 years old, and i didn't get my license until i was 19 because it took me 4 attempts on the driving test. so until then i just drove without a license all those years. i only had my license for a few months until it got suspended but i can't remember when exactly and i never renewed it because of an SR22 against me. they should erase the law that says you need a license to drive in this country and make it show you just have to show proof of age to be in operation of a car

Wow!! And if it really was a right, could you imagine all the people on the road that shouldnt be on the road. Rules and laws are in place for a reason. Im by no means a fan of some laws but I do understand that they are there for a reason. People that think we should have no laws and that everything should be giving to us are the people who end up killing people just like in this video.

Another death caused by the doctorsand pharmaceutical companies.... Keep up the good work guys..... Now I know why you guys make so much money..... Imagine the outrage if a vitamin supplement caused this

Modern medicine and pharmaceutical are necessary. But they have to be used responsibly in patients. Vitamins can cause things like this as well, by the way. The vitamins that are soluable in fat (E, D, K, A) can accumulate in your body and cause serious harm. My overly health concious granny thought she would do something good for her health by taking lots of vitamins. It caused some liver damage and at one point the inflammation flared up and caused her to get fevery and delirious, and she almost walked into a busy road on the way to her doctor. Luckily other people where around and held her back. There are two important rules to remeber: 1) Anything that interacts with you (has an effect on you/ "works") also has some sort of side effect because it influences on of the countless intertwined equilibria and pathways. If something can proudly claim 0 side effects, they are either not known, or the product doesn't work at all (e.g. homeopathy). 2) At the right concentrations, everything is poisonous. And by the way, in a modern balanced diet no vitamins should be necessary (unless your doctor tells you otherwise) if you don't have any dietary restrictions. Vitamin supplements are a huge and in the industry well known scam, and can even cause harm as seen above. They prey on people wanting a relatively cheap and easier way to live healthier or protect themselves in "natural ways" during the flu / cold season. They are very cheap to make and often face more lienient regulations concerning quality control, testing and health claims than pharmaceuticals. If you're interested I'd like to tell you more/ discuss with you. I'm not working in the industry but I got a degree in biochemistry and therefore know quite a bit more than an average person. Pharma companies can act pretty shady, espacially on the backdrop of healthcare systems like in the US, but that doesn't mean the products are fundamentally flawed.
