I'm still trying to picture how he would interpreted Aragorn in the LOTR movies. He was scouted for the role, after all, but turned it down. (Viggo Mortenson was wonderful, however.)

@@kesseonojedje5505 to be fair, I didn’t say she was bad, just that she wasn’t brilliant as a casting choice. She struggled with the accent, which also made her character impossible to believe. I actually love Cameron Diaz, both as an actress and as a human. I think she’s brilliant in comedies and she was amazing in My Sister’s Keeper, but this is probably on the bottom of my list of her best work.

Beethoven was deaf but is one of the greatest musical composers that ever walked the Earth. There's countless examples of people overcoming physical handicaps to excel at something.

Lewis is the definition of a great actor. He always seems like a different person. Actors like Sam Jackson are the same person in every movie. Daniel Day Lewis becomes the characters so they never appear to be the same guy from the last movie

After he did Lincoln he announced that he was completely retired from acting. Said he wanted to focus on his family. I'm sad about it but he puts so much of himself in each movie he's exhausted after each one. He also needs time after each movie to shed off the character he played. He becomes a character so completely even when he's not filming he stays in character.
