I believe his brother Dick runs this stuff, but maybe his sister Margaret has a hand in it too.

Seeing Daniel hanging with his friend, smoking, listening to music makes me feel happy, Reminds me of my mid 20s.

Daniel’s rough energy though! when he instantly got frustrated, rushed out of the house and slammed the door. This video is a great window into his artistic process and personality. I really miss him despite not even knowing him personally. I understand full well how he was sometimes impossible to be around, but he was a great musician and a great human being, who, despite his terrible condition, never backed down an inch from his path.

As I understand this was after his hospitalisation and after the record "1991" (his "darkest" album I'd say) and you can sort of sense the shadows here too. He truly lived his broken dreams!

@12:45 I love this video Dick. It shows people who never knew or met Danny how gregarious and super friendly he was most of the time. Albeit not when he was out of cigarettes. I think a lot of people had the misconception that Dan was way out there is because his huge heart and monumental friendliness took many people back, the uptight folk with too many hangups. Danny could read people like a magician and the uptight ones he really enjoyed taking them off their guard. Loved giving people nicknames upon first meetings. It was funny to watch. One thing Dan wasn’t was fake in anyway or a bullshit artist . It’s a hard lonely way to live but some make it their creed. Call it stubborn or non conformist but it really was a purity of the heart and soul. We miss you Dan.

I love footage like this. Very human and relatable. I especially like the part where Daniel and his friend are just hanging out watching TV discussing music and other random topics. When Daniel's friend suggested they listen to an album, you could tell he chose that recording because he knew Daniel's taste in music. He was excited to share it with him because he thought he would really like it. Very touching moment in a simple humane friendship kind of way.

It’s so amazing seeing him literally compose “When I met you “ live. What a genius. And then seeing him hanging out with that dude was funny to see. Sad dude didn’t know or care about the biblical stuff Dan wanted to talk about, man that’d be so fun to smoke a joint with Danny and talk about that stuff with him! But at least he got to introduce him to kinks songs like “Walter” which kicks ass!

I love this soo much! Thanks Dick. I only really got to hang out with Danny 4 or 5 times, he called me Darkman … like the comic. But I could definitely feel when he was relaxed and he’d jam like this. More fluid and steady instead of his more manic tempos all over the map because he was nervous and didn’t know anyone there. This is something I’d probably buy as it reminds me of Dan how he could use his art as medicine. A couple of cases of Diet Mountain Dew and Packs of Marlboro lights he have 3 lit at one time. He is missed by soo many.

i started in 2000 at 17 and all you could get was low quality brick weed but i didn't need much to feel like i was tripping. Now i have the strongest weed there is but after 24 years im so used to it and have a high tolerance so its not like it does nothing but its not at all like it was the first 5 years or so @@Looking4angels
