I don't know of any singer who puts as much gut-grabbing emotion into this 110-year-old song as Eva does. Just wow! Her acoustic guitar perfectly accentuates her ethereal voice to create a rawness that captures the feeling of love and desperate separation.

Eva's talent was just a little sample of the beauty we will hear when we have departed this troubled life and reunite with our love ones in a better place. The raw love and emotions will be just too much for us to handle here and now.... may we all be that blessed.

By the way, this is a live take. You can hear her break a guitar string in the performance and she continues right on perfectly with zero hitch. It happens around 3:22-3:25.

If you want your heart broken further, you should know that Eva spent her entire life in the Washington, DC metro area. Her brother is a successful fiddle player in Iceland. His name, Dan Cassidy.

Don't mean to sound argumentative but the notes she sings in a soft falsetto are intentional for emotion - If she had chosen to she could blown the roof off because there wasn't a note Eva couldn't hit
