It's because he does exist. Priscilla was the result of a real dragon and God procreating which preserved her intelligence. Oceiros was not a real dragon and the lords of their age weren't real gods, resulting in the stillbirth of ocelots mind preventing him from becoming "real" or in other words, preventing him from showing himself in the physical form. The unnatural status of his parents results in a botched conception where the child's Gene's are impure and prevents him from having any sort of intelligence, hence the infantile nature of the child. It was unable to mature into a weapon against the gods despite all attempts by geniuses to create such a being. As we know, the chosen undead murdered the only pure dragon human offspring when we killed Priscilla. Seaths goal, based of the video "a plot against the gods", was to take revenge against the gods for their deceit. He was wrong in his choice to usurp the dragons by destroying their scales. Leaving him only with resentment and revenge which lead to the creation of a weapon against life. Ocelot was a creation with a similar purpose however he was braindead due to impure Gene's and never fulfilled his purpose before the ashen one antagonized ocieros and his father crushed him out of desperation anger and fear for his life.

Sounds right to me, I've noticed quite a few times the animation of throwing something to the ground in the phase transition, he's definitely holding something, it's just invisible and there's the constant crying which stops when he squashes it.

You can also hear a baby crying in the background during the fight

but the child is crying during the entire fight, including the second phase where the child js supposed to be dead. This is why I believe the king was tricked.

Ocelot has a model in cut content. So he was once meant to not be invisible.

There are sound files and a texture that was in the files for the baby but they cut it because it's all kinds of messed up so Oceiros was originally supposed to be holding Ocelotte and eventually kills it during the fight

well yea thats how it was supposed to be, but with what i said you could explain why you cant see ocelotte

Or Ocelotte is Lothric's birthname, and Oceiros is just crazy.

Digit Silverlight sulyvahn was born in the painted world he didn't become forlorn and end up there he was born there and left for he had not known loss does not sound forlorn to me.

Heh, happy to help, i mean why else would FROM give us the Reversal ring, unless they wanted to draw attention to the fact hat characters genders can be reversed in DS world???? -and for me if I'm guessing at a gender flipped character my number 1 guess is Yorshka! (aside from Gwyndolin, but clearly we dont need the ring prop to know that)

You could pad the theory of it being Ocelotte really is in the room, by Yorshka saying you're strangely familiar. Again, stretch maybe, but I really think the Yorshka/Ocelotte theory has merit. Also, I believe her scales are more in line with Oceiros than Priscilla.

I think Prince Lothric is Ocelotte, just like King Lothric is Oceiros. He made a child of dragons who was destined to link the fire permanently, but he was born sickly and frail, with pale skin and clawed hands.

Great theories here! Definitly added to my headcanon. According to lokey (i think) gwyndolin is referred to as male in the japanese version, so he turned himself into a male succesor with the ring and then used it to hide ocelotte?

I'd like this explanation more than Ocelotte is invisible - thanks for bringing this one to my attention.

I think the whole 'invisible Ocellotte came about because before it was cut the Consumed King battle had him cradling a baby, assumed to be Ocelotte, and the developer only removed the visual of the baby in his hands. To me though if it is cut than it is not canon and unless the developers say other wise we will not know if Ocelotte is invisible or if the Consumed King just thinks Ocelotte is still with him.

With that being said, i know that DS3 is suppose to be taking place in a type of 'parallel dimension' or 'recurring cycle' with small changes etc, but dammit, nobody remembers poor Flame God Flann anymore 😄

+SmoughTown No, thank you :) The cut content for the Oceiros fight is what gives me the creeps the most about this entire series. The dying sounds of a halfbreed dragon baby being smashed several times. Supposedly Oceiros goes rampantly mad mid-fight after smashing Ocelotte to the ground (liquid coming out btw) and franticly trying to locate him again afterwards. But i don't like cut content, tjey try a lot of stuff out and they could have cut it for any number of reasons, lore-related or otherwise.

B, It's not unfounded speculation. There is a lot of evidence that Gwynevere is the Queen of Lothric.

There are hints, sure, bit to take these things as evident is ignorant my friend :) I might be wrong, but there is still NO evidence that the Queen is Gwynevere. There is, however, evidence that she married Flann. It's stated WITHOUT A DOUBT that she left and married Flame God Flann. Nowhere is shr mentioned to be the Queen of Lothric. I repeat, no-where WHATSOEVER. So yeah, no evidence. At all. Sure, the queen of Lothric has a lot im common with Gwynevere, sure, and it IS possible that Gwynevere is the queen, but to call it evident is false. It's evident that she married Flann, NOT Oceiros. That being said, i repeat myself; She CAN be the Queen, as this game is set in a parallel dimension og different cycle with small changes from the dimensiom or cycle in DS1, but it's SPECULATION, not fact og evident.
