There was darkness in Quadratum before Sora got there. The evidence is in the Verum Rex trailer. The tornado that we see is something we've seen before. In the trailer we see the tornado destroy everything and suck it up into the spell circle in the sky. At the end, what most people don't notice, is that when the tornado gets dispelled, all the destruction it caused is no longer there. The building that Yozora and his companions are standing on is perfectly intact and so are the buildings in the background. This is what it looks like when a world falls to darkness, and is returned to the world of light. In KH1, Destiny islands falls to darkness. We see it start out as a strong wind, but it eventually becomes a tornado that's desroying everything and sucking it up into a void in the sky. At the end of the game, Destiny Islands is returned to the world of light where it is returned perfectly intact as if it wasn't destroyed in the first place. In BBS, The land of Departure falls to darkness. Just like in KH1 and in the Verum Rex trailer, A tornado destroys it and it gets sucked into a void in the sky. When The land of Departure gets returned to the realm of light, it is also perfectly intact as if it wasn't destroyed in the first place. The last time we see a world fall to darkness is Daybreak town in Union X, but we haven't seen it returned to the realm of light yet, but everything else is the same. So, Yeah, What we see in the Verum Rex trailer is the girl, for some reason, is casting a spell that's causing Quadratum to fall to darkness. This leads in to the KH4 trailer. There are more parallels that the Verum Rex trailer has with destiny islands falling to darkness. While Destiny Islands is falling into darkness, Sora has a conversation with Riku where at the end, RIku has his hand outstreched with an unconcerned look in his face while Sora tries desperately to reach for Riku's hand, but doesn't reach it. This is just like in the Verum Rex trailer where the girl has her hand outstreched with an unconcerned look on her face with Yozora desperately trying to reach for her hand. How this is relevant to the KH4 trailer is that it completes the parallel. Before Destiny Islands falls completely, Sora fights a darkside. Now in the KH4 trailer, Sora fights a darkside. I think that when the girl in the Verum Rex trailer's spell was interrupted and the destruction was reverted that quadratum's fall to darkness wasn't stopped completely, just slowed down. A darkside appearing in Quadratum is a sign that it's still falling. I know I just explained all that, but I do believe that there is actually another darkness that appeared even before the events of the Verum Rex trailer, but I'm actually working on my own video explaining that. The Strelitzia stuff is really cool, though. I haven't seen too many people really dive into the her with regards to the KH4 trailer.

I just replayed Kingdom Hearts 2 and Final Fantasy 10 and man I just continue to think this man is obsessed with dreaming parallel universes and everything getting wild out here but great video I love it

A counterpoint is that sora entered quadratum an irregular way while strelitzia didn't. This could be what is causing the light and darkness to appear

THANKS! I've been saying, since the KH4 trailer was realesed, that Strelitzia was only the body and someone else is in place of her heart. Based on Yozora, the nameless star and the poster on Quadratum, is normal to have your body stolen there, so I theorised that someone may have stolen her body and her heart is currently in the Final World as a star amoung many other (not that she's the nameless star, course not, but one of the many stars you can talk to), since in the 20th anniversary artwork she's the only character that's sleeping and as Chirithy says "The edges of sleep and dead touch and one can't help the ocational crossover".

While the theory that it might not be the Strelitzia we know is not new, the perspective of her being Darkness or perhaps the reason Darkness such as Darkside didn't appear is because she's a data/replica & not legit keyblade user is interesting to me. I was always more on the side of perhaps her heart was swapped (and the real/data Strelitzia is Nameless Star). To play "Devil's Advocate": She wasn't fighting alongside Sora because corporate/technical/deadline reasons & not necessarily story reasons. The Master of Masters really has been fighting a proxy war since he's disappeared from Daybreak Town. Good to have another vid from ya! Looking forward to the next one!

I don't think all keyblades are created equal in how much they attract heartless. For example you hardly fight any heartless and birth by sleep, sure you could say the unverse are darkness too cuz they're created by Vanitas, but in that case Darkness wasn't targeting Terra Aqua and Ventus because they were keyblade wielders, it was targeting them because Vanitas was doing Xehanort's bidding and was ordered to lead them into the trap that they fall into at the end of the game. Sora's keyblade is specifically the kingdom key, one of the two keyblades that can open the door that connects the realms of light and darkness. Also when heartless are destroyed in Kingdom Hearts they aren't completely destroyed because balance has to exist between light and darkness, The darkness that created that heartless goes back into the pool of darkness, but what happens when they are destroyed in a realm where that balance does not exist? I believe when darkness is destroyed in this world it is 100% gone because there's no need to keep balance and light and darkness in this world, because it does not exist as two separate entities. This would keep most heartless from ever entering that world unless they had a very good reason to go into that world. I mean as mindless as heartless are they still seem to have a survival instinct behavior and this instinct would keep them away from a world where they could be completely destroyed. But then Sora appears with the kingdom key and now the heartless have a reason to go there because they want that key. So regardless of whether or not Strelitzia, is the real thing or data doesn't really matter and whether or not the Master of Masters is manipulating her as data or the real thing doesn't really matter either. Perhaps the Master of Masters was messing around with her data to figure out how to manipulate the real Strelitzia. Which actually wouldn't be too hard because she was killed by one of the original 13 darknesses, this would make it really easy for the Master of Masters to win her over to his side to plot to get rid of all darkness, especially if she had any inkling of feelings of revenge or just wanting to feel safe from them. Lastly even if Strelitzia's keyblade did attract heartless she could easily just put away somewhere safe and keep it away from herself just like Yuffie did with Sora's keyblade. Being literally murdered by darkness I think is a good enough reason to not want to invited it back into her life even if it means giving up her keyblade. I mean she could have even given it to the Master of Masters because he has the ability to take away someone's keyblade. Although knowing that Quadratum is an afterworld does make you wonder what the heartless are in Kingdom Hearts. It makes them a roadblock into progressing to the next stage of life because when you get your heart taken away by a heartless you don't die you become a heartless and stay one until both your heartless and nobody have been destroyed, then you can be recompleted as a normal person. So in essence heartless are people trapped in a type of hell because they cannot progress to the next stage of life as long as they're a heartless.

Exactly. I totally agree with you on the necessity of balance. The Master needs a very firm wake up call because he seems to have forgotten that it is from darkness that light is born, that as long as there is life there will be darkness and light. Take away the darkness and everything crumbles, same thing with light. I think Sora is going to learn this lesson finally when he stumbles upon the truth. As multiple people have observed, such as The (Violet) Howler, Sora is stuck on this concept of light is always good and darkness is always evil whereas Riku has come to recognize the necessity of the existence of darkness.

Before watching: 1. Darkness showed up because in order for there to be balance, light and dark must coexist. Darkness showed up because Strelitzia (a seed of light) was placed in Quadratum, Sora's keyblade allows Heartless to track him, so now they can exist. 2. Both Sora and Strelitzia are dead. As for the reason they've both arrived in Quadratum, who knows. After watching: Well now I don't know

Interesting… Not every theory is as easy to digest as this, but this one just makes sense 🤔 Unless maybe Strelitzia gave up on trying to leave from Quadratum?? Or it could be like final fantasy 13-3 where after a certain amount of time the world resets, so that the people reacting to the heartless do so every so often, because the world resets every certain amount of time 🤔

Interesting and believable tbh. I personally don't agree because I feel like we don't know what the actual game story has in store for us yet. That's just a trailer, any of those moments we seen in the trailer don't necessarily have to be in order we saw them, plus nothing is final until the games is complete. For example, in that part of the game (trailer), we probably will be wearing our kh3 clothes still. I do think her reason for being in Quadratum has a lot to do with Luxu or the Master of Masters, if not both

I too think Data Strelitzia will be MoM’s way to get close to Sora… but I’m hoping in the end Data Strelitzia gets her own identity and breaks away from MoM’s influence to be Sora’s true ally. I thought Strelitzia seemed sus in the trailer and this all explains why perfectly.

I really want it to be Strelitzia cause we need Lauriam to get a good ending at least, since he's most likely recompleted, also we have been told in KHUx that a heart with no body can create a new one if it wills itself enough, so most likely, Strelitzia then goes to Quadratum a bit of time after Riku gets in Quadratum, wills herself a new body but can only do so for a limited amount of time before returning to the Final World, guiding Sora to possibly reunite with Riku, and occasionally bringing in someone new to help with the search.

I’m just hoping that Strelitzia does fulfill the role of a foe. I would love to see her be the True Dandelion (that contains that final 13th willful darkness, the one that’s believed to have stayed in Daybreak Town) who pretty much takes the place of Ava within the Master of Master’s ranks. It would add to the emotional cost of the new saga with a true darkness living in both Ventus and Strelitzia (I do still believe that Sora will become friends with her before her betrayal). I can see Vanitas and the other darknesses (the ones that aren’t in the Master’s ranks) gain their own physical forms as a way of saving Ventus. But maybe there’s some deep programming with Strelitzia for her darkness in order for her to be fought in order for the whole 13 darknesses can be destroyed. As that has to happen so that Master’s plan can come to fruition.

Darkness isn't only attracted to the keyblade, it's attracted to the darkness in people's hearts. This theory assumes that nobody in Quadratum has darkness, including Luxu and the MoM (which I have a hard time believing).

Light, Darkness, In between, Dreams, Memories, and then the place on the otherside of the Final World…. A place of Fiction? …Maybe, or Maybe Not… …A World of Possibilities… … A Realm of ….Ideas.

I think Strelitzia will be revealed as a keyblade weilder at the end of that Darkside fight..... And if it's that this is just the data Strelitzia, could be Ava's heart in there? And that the heart in final world that everyone is convinced is the girl from Quadradum is actually Strelitzia looking for Larum.

Couple things i wanna say based on your theory. If the darkness showed up because Sora arrived, that would also mean that the Master of Masters had also just arrived. The Master of Masters is also a keyblade wielder; even though he doesn't have his keyblade, his heart is strong enough to wield one. If this theory was true the Master of Masters couldn't have been here the whole time or else darkness would have shown up sooner. But another thing to think about, if Strelitzia is data then this world would also be data as well. Even if this is a fake (and that does fit the theme since we know about Yozora and his changed appearance) the body is data. Her body was taken from out side of data daybreak town and was put in Quadratum kinda mean this would be a data version of Quadratum. I dont think we seen people made of data living in the real version of the world, only the opposite. So if this World is data, the it would make sense why the Master of Masters would be here. Because he is controlling it, maybe a test run for the real thing. So Sora has seen the data version and the dream version. Yozora's dream where he meets Sora at the end of the game for that final fight. That Quadratum would be the dream version. So when Riku travels there then he might be the 1st to show up there as a Keyblade wielder. Unless the Master of Masters is there then it would make that Quadratum really doesnt have light or darkness, maybe he is using that data version as a test run to make light and dark appear or maybe kingdom hearts appear in a world with none of it. Another part of Quadratum theory, if Quadratum is on the other side making it the unreal and the reason its category as unreal because of no light or dark. Is the Master plans to merge the 2 together. Because if he brings both light and dark together then Quadratum would no longer would be labeled as unreal 🤔. Another thing to think about, if Riku was the 1st to show looking for Sora, maybe something happened to Riku and thats how we get Yozora now. Another heart in Riku's body. Maybe what we saw are things to come and not what has happened yet. Like in every teaser before they show whats to come not really whats happening at that time. Lots of things to think about, but tell me what you think.

Actually I could add something to that maybe that is her well to start luxu said the figure in the white coat is a seed to be planted in the future the true dandelion so I could say luxu used a data copy of strellitzia body in order to send it into unreality so strellitzia heart could inhabit it and the master must have memories of her to retane her sense of self that mean she would be in that world longer than sora but most of her powers are stirped clean and can't use them anymore luxu said he wasn't doing it for the unionleaders it for himself which means strellitzia right now is still important to the master of masters and i could say that's how she made it into unreality

The darkside is riku's heartless, Yozora is his nobody. "But the timeline!" For a fictional world? That Yozora himself said he stumbled into or found himself in? He isn't from there.

What if its the darkness from when it prevailed ? Sora did make a new time line what if the original time line just moved over to quadratum. And we also don't know if darkness wasn't already there before Sora woke up. And that's just my random thought on it i know im probably wrong.

Not that its not plausible im regards to the darkseid following sora. I think its possible that just like the book projected worlds and heartless. Its more likely a projection from mom to test sora who happens to be standing over and watching him from that skyscraper

So I don't like people using the word "afterlife" since the translation,so far as the trailer gives, is "afterworld". This could be a reality/universe/world that exists beyond "The Final World". It isn't a world beyond death. I personally think if we must stick to the idea of only two sides of reality, then Traverse Town is on the side of Kingdom Hearts blessed with light, while Quadratum is on the side of Kingdom Hearts that is not blessed by light. Its been a personal thing for me. Strelitzia, I think is here because her heart too strong, so at some point she transitioned(transition will be a big theme in KH4 and beyond) to Quadratum. Since she died, because she was murdered, she isn't able to summon her keyblade anymore. The transition from one side of reality/Kingdom Hearts probably can strip those kinds of powers from the dead. Sora however, did not die. He faded from one reality/Kingdom Hearts to the other. Yes, it is a transition, but not death. So he is able to retain his power. The Master of Masters gave his keyblade to Luxu, so when he faded he didn't have a "banked" keyblade. (Banked keyblades are an idea I've seen that says you can store keyblades in your heart/hammer space). So as MOM hits the other reality/Kingdom Hearts, he has no keyblade either. Assuming the Darkside is a darkness darkside and not made of something else(I heard the word karma thrown around) then Sora is the first to cross over with a keyblade, so it makes sense.
