You miss how many sacrifices Death made to keep the Balance. And not because the damn council told him, but because he believe it's the right way. And one more thing, Brotherhood of the four isn't a blood line, it's chosen. Family doesn't end with blood. So... Isn't Death the greatest character from a videogame or what?

oH YES!!! Death is written very well. Just love everything about him. His judgements is also his own an not someone else's will.

Fun fact the tree of death is called the Qliphoth and many view it as the roots of the Es Hayyim. The fruit of which is called Sephiroth.

That was only the Nephilim's excuse, their real goal was to conquer as evidenced by the creation of the Grand Abominations (weapons of mass destruction) in the Darksiders book Abomination Vault.

I'm more confused about the first games backstory....like I kind of understand why the seals were broken by Abaddon, but don't know Ulthane had a role in it

Lubble-1397 Because he is a Maker, he was capable of re-forging the Seals so that the universe would think that Hell marched to war first and that Heaven and Abbadon were simply retaliating.

He changes size while you fight him i would say lile 20 feet tall when he's fully powered and 12 feet when he's weakened. This is assuming death is around 8-9 feet tall
