I did a nice circular hike around Burrator sheeps tor in Feb , stayed on the tor over night . There were 4 other tents ,BUT , we could not see each other from our own tents. All good .. be well !

Sheepstor is stunning, I really love it up there. The sun over the reservoir is beautiful. There are loads of good pitches up there too, as you say, plenty of room for multiple tents without tripping over each other.
