David Banks' commitment, energy and imagination he has put into the history of the Cyber race should be recognised and applauded. I look forward to hearing these in full. His book is, for me the real history of the Cybermen, and to hear this expanded is a must. Nice one Mr Banks! :) Graham.

The Origins of the Cybermen is a rare type of fiction in that it tells the story of a whole race, rather than individuals within it. I had these on audio cassette, but I just found them on Amazon thanks to this video!

Me too, a great read and, for me, the real history of the Cyber race. Graham.

Actually, the idea of the Cyber Leader telling a story would be, well, excellent. Maybe it’s a field log of different missions that weren’t TV serials that this Cyber Leader was present in, and he can give us insight on how the Cybermen pulled off such plans, like how they got so many Cybermen into the Freighter in Earthshock

I wonder what David thinks about the modern series.

Well, the 14 Planet Theory gets blown out of the water if the Moon is supposedly a fucking egg... :\
