I love how menacing Big Finish does these Cybermen. I honestly think that this story and Warzone/Conversion would probably be David Banks' best performance as the Cyber-Leader.

This was one I made a point to pay for and download. _Man,_ best Cybermen story _hands down!_ When the Cyberleader issued that ultimatum to the U.K./Earth giving the population an hour to surrender, _goosebumps!_

I was on the fence about buying this one, but after hearing this, I'm sold. I'm buying this. Banks was the best part of the classic Cybermen stories, him and his ironically emotional Cyberleader, and it's a joy to hear his voice again.

God, I missed David Banks. I know he wouldn't fit in with the show's modern depiction of the Cybermen, but I still wish they found a way to fit his Cyberleader character in somehow.

Cybermen live a very long time, this Leader seems to be pretty good at cheating death, and this is a show about time travel, it wouldn't surprise me at all if this Cyber-Leader encountered many future incarnations of the Doctor

@@HollowBoy04 - I have to agree with you. It’s simultaneously more ‘Banks’ yet there’s a far more ‘crystalline’ quality to it that I can’t quite describe, as opposed to the more ‘radio’ sound of the original ‘80’s voices (if those two adjectives make any sense?), but _this_ voice right here is somehow more disquieting than it was in the ‘80’s and it’s all the more frightening for it.
