About David Bowie:
David Bowie redefined musical genres and the potential of live performance for generations of music lovers. Creating and discarding a variety of personae and restlessly challenging musical boundaries, Bowie released timeless albums including Space Oddity, Hunky Dory, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust…, Aladdin Sane, Diamond Dogs, Young Americans, Station to Station, "Heroes,” Let's Dance, Heathen, The Next Day and many more. Blackstar, Bowie’s 28th and final studio album, was released on his 69th birthday, January 8, 2016. David Bowie died on January 10, 2016, two days after the release of Blackstar. His body of work, his influence on the worlds of music, art, fashion, film, theatre and beyond, and his legacy of innovation and reinvention will live forever. 2022 kicks off with Bowie at 75, a celebration of his 75th birthday with the Brilliant Adventure box set, the previously unreleased Toy, the 50th anniversary of Ziggy Stardust and a series of special events.

@@littlemouse7066 If you don't want to "offend", then why did you comment? At no point did I compare the two, but I praised the impact they had and have ON ME. I love artists like David Bowie, Adam Lambert, Freddie Mercury and Queen, George Michael, Placebo, Pet Shop Boys, Siversun Pickups, Iamx, Smashing Pumpkins, Mogwai, Boards Of Canada, and so on. And FOR ME everyone is on the same level, because they impact me with the same intensity even if in different ways.

@@evandroid So you measure everything on you. ok if it works for you. I personally think there is the possibility to understand what is creatively better or what is better from a composition point of view I could never put on the same level Mozart and Lambert for example but that doesn'ìt mean you can't like both. One thing is to like something another thing is to think they are equally valuable or poignant or relevant. It would be like saying a painting from Raffaello is the same as a painting you did in your free time in your kitchen. they are not the same. I think there must be a distinction.

@@littlemouse7066 favourite artist. It meant their favourites. It wasn’t a ranking. There was no ranking them at all.....two of could mean anywhere in that personal ranking system which wasn’t expanded on. I don’t get your need to come in and comment like you did on something that didn’t pit the two artists together/against each other at all.

Not only big ones. Obscure ones too. His music knowledge is huge. His dad was a college dj or something and has a huge vinyl collection and his mum had different music Tastes again. His brother learnt piano and he started theatre at really young age. He’s been exposed to a heap of different eras and genres of music his whole life but you think he is a poser if he mentions any......All he talks about is music and creative stuff.....he spends time in various musical circles even now....I mean who does a cover album with songs from 1932 through to 2020 from different genres on the same album...who in the last couple of years has done stuff with Andrew Lloyd Webber, Beverly Knight, dreamworks etc. not to mention that he has spent 10+ yrs touring and spending time with Brian and roger. He always mentions talking music with them. He has written and recorded songs in genres from metal to edm to pop. He has recorded songs from musicals, movie soundtracks, character voices etc But nah he is just a poser who purports to know about music but knows nothing about music....yeah right...
