This is the music of my life. I am an old man now, but the aches go away when I listen to this classic intricate music and my soul soars back when I was young and the slightest smile to a beautiful lady would end in a night of love and passion. I was never a one night stand man. Within a month this lady would have her clothes beside mine. What a wonderful time to be alive and virile. Thank you for the music of my life and soul.

You must be talking about the 60's (or therebouts) when if you asked someone out it was pretty certain it would lead to love making. I still remember the flowers in the hair, the Prairie dresses, and it was hard to find a lovely that wore a bra.

it's almost impossible not to cry while listening to this. I've seen Gilmour live three times : once in Firenze (Florence, Italy), once at the Royal Albert Hall and above all in Pompei in 2016. I've always been moved to tears by the way this man touches those strings. I will be forever grateful to Pink Floyd and David Gilmour for every emotion they have been able to evoke in me during all these years I've been listening to them. Best band to ever walk this earth , period.

Being a lifelong musician lm transported to the days of my youth when anything goes and nothing stood in the way. Thank you David and the entirety of all the awesome incredible artists that create the musical entity you exist in, PINK FLOYD and from the bottom of my heart I thank you for letting me play along and recapture the feelings of my youth. Not once have you guys threatened to not let me come back even when i stumble and make mistakes.😅

Pink Floyd as a group were basically done releasing new music when I started becoming aware of music (I was born in '87), I'll always be sad that I couldn't experience their music as it was released. They will always be my favorite and the best, their music just speaks to me in a way that no one else's does (and David Gilmour's guitar playing reaches me in ways no one else's can).

I never tire of watching this video. Unfortunately, it could never happen again since three of the artists are no longer with us, the incredibly talented Richard Wright who died about a year after this concert, the late David Bowie who left us in 2016, and the recent passing of David Crosby in 2022. I have been fortunate to see David Gilmour and Pink Floyd many times over the years having first seen them in the 70s. My favorite concert that I saw them was in the late 90s because I was able to take my late mother with me to see them, she loved music and she loved Pink Floyd. Thank you, David Gilmour, for creating and sharing your immense talents and wonderful music with the world 🌎.

@@eugene956 Clapton is a different kind of a guitarist. Enjoyably faster than fast on his guitar. Gilmore’s style is slower but beautifully melodic. However, Money and Comfortably Numb shows he can rip too. Gilmour has jammed with Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck. BTW, before he died too young in a helicopter crash, Stevie Ray Vaughn was even faster and better than Eric Clapton. Don’t get me wrong. I have gone to many Eric Clapton concerts back in the day. I grew up with him and all the greats.
