First gaming upload ^_^
[1/5] part series on the just released Dawnguard DLC for Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. I am playing as a 100% mage. Due to playing as a mage there are so many ways to kill people and a LOT of menu scrolling between spells, powers, and such. This is the full DLC path to becoming a vampire lord and the first quest you get to test out your new powers. I played the whole thing through as a Vampire as soon as I gained the ability and also showed off all the perks as well. This is the very start of Dawnguard and from where I began it as well as all the cut-scenes/dialog not skipped (most options asked). No commentary just Skyrim. Enjoy!
Overview:
Part 1: How to start Dawnguard, Introduction, Beginning First Quest.
Part 2: Continuing quest, Major story part.
Part 3: New Dragon Shout, Finishing first quest, The choice, Becoming a Vampire Lord.
Part 4: First quest as vampire lord, testing abilities/powers.
Part 5: Finishing first vampire lord quest.
Note: If some spots fade out or cut randomly it is to save time from:
- Loading / Traveling (outside quest lines)
- Looting
- Lost my path for an embarrassing long time
- Various Xbox Live interactions
- Bloopers *will post at end of series
- Any other possible interruptions

If you have the DLC and are level 10. He WILL find you in any major town. You don't have to find him, he will find you.

Click up or down on D-Pad to open favorites menu, scroll to "revert form", then click RB and your back to normal. When you do the quest Harkon explains all you need to know about being a vampire lord.

Yep, doesn't matter where you go it will start the quest on it's own basically. Any major city works and the DLC insists on starting itself once you are the right level and have it downloaded.

Yes you have to actually start the first quest for the Dawnguard then the option will come later on. You will know when the choice comes.

It doesn't have to be in that exact spot. Go to any major city and talk to some quard or just give it time and the Dawnguard quest will start itself. Just make sure you installed the Dawnguard DLC and when you are at the main menu click on add-ons and make sure Dawnguard is listed. Also you have to be at least level 10 to start the quest, otherwise re-download it and just visit random cities and give it some time.

so im confused i attracted the vampire whatever its called and once i do that then i go to whiterun and that guys will come after i become full vampire

ugh I don't know I have the dawnguard downloaded and I reach level 10 yet nothing happened can someone help me am I suppose to talk to a guard or wt???

You know what's awesome? On the PC, im already a vampire and have already destroyed the Vigilants (including Carcette) It's nice to see the outcome of that :D. By the way, does anyone know if you can become a vampire lord, if you're already a regular vampire?

When it was on 360 there was no vampire dlc. I became a vampire by going in a cave. Whith this special ed I see now I have to start over.

That's weird. Try waiting a bit and fast traveling a few places then talk to a guard if you still haven't gotten it. I walked to Whiterun and that guy just came up to me and started it.

what level do you have to be to find this guy coz im lvl 32 and he still isnt there (is there some special thing i have to do to make him notice me)

It's not armor, it mages robes. Do the college of winterhold and you will get them. *Spoilers* You get the Arch mages robes after completing the college quest "The Eye of Magnus" and as far as my gloves and boots. I picked them up off of a Thalmor mage since they have 0 armor rating and I can enchant them. I keep my base armor at 0 so my alteration spell is 3x more powerful. But yea just do mages college and you will get it.

Sorry, didn't use them the entire time and it's all already recorded. You really like subtitles? It's recorded in HD quality both audio and video so you should be able to understand them. But next time I record something like this I totally will.

Hahaha! yea Riften is most popular but it really doesn't matter which city you go to he will insist on talking to you. If you want a more clear tutorial on which side to join just check out my tutorial video. Otherwise it should be pretty obvious which choice is which. Have fun!

Haha nah I'm pretty sure it's 'lax about what you are currently and what route you chose. But honestly I prefer vampire side >:) it's a lot more fun. Either way enjoy yourself once it finally releases on Ps3!

Well I guess they figure since PC get's all the Steam and Skyrim Nexus mods that consoles should get something first. Although the Ps3 kinda lucked out completely on this one. Guess Bethesda is loyal to Xbox or something. Totally sucks you have to wait, and sucks for PS3 users too.

cuz pc gamers already have the mod pack(s). and microsoft has an exclusive contract with bethesda for their games of this nature. so since ur computer is more than likely a microsoft run OS maybe you should just invest in an xbox.

lol every video i see i go to the comments and every one is arguing about xbox getting it first the info i heard was sony tried a big money bid to get dlc content first and microsoft beat there bid when they found out what sony was up too. I own a pc ps3 and xbox so dont bother me just thought i would share what i heard. Sony sneaky buggers plan when tits up.
