That gym is nice! I was based in tidworth and the gym wasnt enough like that 👍 good job lads from ex PTI to quality PTIs

I would be more interested to see the kettlebell area! I'm currently waiting to get my blood test done before I can go back to Pirbright to do my fitness tests. My current training regime consists of running, kettlebells and clubbells. I do sometimes train with bodyweight/dumbbells aswell.

That pti on the assault course demo had him 2 and half years ago when I was at atc pirbright he use to beast us all time but now it is not allowed to be called beasting 😂 any ways everyone at pirbright have a lovely Xmas and new year 👍

Point of safety to note, if you have too much momentum on landing you go into a shoulder role not a forward role, in case you misjudge, you don’t land on your head!

The 80s and early 90s Gyms had nothing like the equipment today. The new stuff I bet is great for remedial fitness. So enabling the Biffer Sqd recruits to rotate back into Training troops again. Great set up Fabziy. Every Corp had its own Regular and Jnr Ldr depots, so more gyms. I like both the individual Corp depots of old, as well as the All Arms Depot like Pirbright, and Infantry Training School. Makes sense to train all recruits in same place, as CMSR is CMSR etc. Then trade Training for infantry in one place, and Corp training schools for RLC, RSigs, RE, REME etc. I've been in civ div for so long, I don't recognise the Army new structure. So really enjoy videos, esp from The Leg Fabziy. Proper DSI PT Corp Loon. Be great to see you as QMSI in the future mate.

Yes the huge range of equipment on offer is way ahead of what you would find in an army gymnasium in the 80's but that's progress I guess. We had a Powersport Multigym machine plus a few rusty barbells and dumbells and a cheapo bench press in a side room off the main gym. Did the job OK though!

In an earlier video, you see Fabziy in his #1 dress, showing two medals, the Afghanistan Operational Service Medal and the Queens Jubilee medal. He could only have received the Afghanistan medal by being actively deployed there.

I saw some bitter mongs complaining on a forum that officers are privileged by having dogs at their place of work. Dogs in the office is a great thing, embrace it!

Does anyone know if officers can become PT staff? i would love to join as an officer and do that and train up new recruits

As far as I'm aware, the answer to that is no. Although their are officers within the RAPTC who transfer in after serving in other Regiments/Corps initially.
