@dantimber I put about 50 miles daily on my 22 Jeep Mojave. I had a 17 Tacoma TRD Sport for reference.... I absolutely love it! Love the sound system, how smooth it rides in city and on highways, the lift, how it looks and taking the tops off and doors from time to time. I have zero regrets! I also live in Phoenix and have taken it on service trails and a few off road trails - it's super capable. It's a big, fun, expensive toy lol

Hi yes I was in 4 High. If watched the second half of the video where I took over driving I was doing over 50 mph on even the tight trail. The truck handled it great. I’m not recommending going that fast on the trail especially with snow and ice on the ground but it’s nice to know you could if you had to. The Mojave is a phenomenal daily driver. Case and point my wife has a new Mercedes but she still often takes the Mojave because it’s so fun to drive and she loves the way you sit up higher and how the Jeep rides. Imagine that! Once you get the tire pressure right for your setup and comfort level the Jeep takes care of the rest. I run 32 psi in my 33 Falken MT I love it. Soaks up all the bumps nicely. Plus you have a great pickup truck when you need it. I won’t even go into owning a Jeep in the summer because it’s kinda self evident. The two downsides seats could be better they are not bad but on long trips it comes into play. The noise can be loud especially on windy days on the freeway. It’s the only thing my wife complains about. I full set of Hot Head headliners kit will take he noise down by 17 decimal which is a lot considering your ear can differentiate 1 decimal. I have yet to install them because if I did I wouldn’t get ti drive it! Seriously I have yet to speak to a Mojave owner that was disappointed with it as a daily driver. Great points it’s nice to hear that from a former Taco owner! IFS vehicles by default drive a little better on road but it’s NOT a huge difference anymore. And off road for me there is no other choice. Plus it’s pretty hard to get the top back on your Tacoma once you’ve taken it off! Take care!

@@MojaveTrails These are both ringing endorsements! Impressive. My dealer has Rubicon's and other trims but no Mojaves. I'd have to order. I understand Mojaves have the best ride. That's important to me for a daily driver. Other than a hardtop and automatic transmission what option(s) is a must. Thanks

In Order 1. Towing Package even if you don't tow the hitch comes in very useful for all kinds of things plus you get a larger alternator, transmission cooler although on the Mojave those might be standard not totally sure. 2. I do wish I had the premium radio for the simple fact that it has a 5g wifi. I could pair my gopros to it and my phone and run a private vpn for all kinds of tech stuff. I have the middle radio which does not have that option. Also my off road pages are in the middle of the steering wheel which is kind of annoying. It's better if you can have them all up in one screen. Obviously the speakers are Alpine and sound better than the next level. 3. Front facing camera. It usually comes with the premium sound package so I don't have this as well. There have been many times on trail where I had to get out and look multiple times. With the front facing camera I could get out once to asses the line and then with the camera make sure I was placing my tires where I intended to. 4. If you have to order it from the factory then ordering it with a snorkel since there are not many after market options available except for 1 and that is an above the hood mount which I'm not a real big fan of for a number of reasons.

Hi that is known as the pipeline trail it is near Laona Wi in the Nicollet national forest. Various Jeep clubs often run it in the fall. It does cross into the Indian reservation where deer hunting is allowed all year round. Fun trail and there are a lot of forest roads to explore in that area. Best not to go a lone.
