It would be nice to show unmodded base building, cause some of these are utterly useless without modded walls/ build anywhere

Iv noticed that 😔 But to compensate i build multiple layers of watchtowers and walls on offical More costly, but you get that height to back your barbwire walls 👍🏻 And watchtowers can go up in a 1 story building on offical, i build inside before i make the base noticeable

Damn, you've picked some really good spots here. The dam is probably my favorite one. Using some metal sheet to make a vanilla wall there, you'd have a really well camouflaged base.

This is the biggest problem that I had whenever I picked this place. At first I thought it would just be something that would expose me or that people could see inside. No they can actually literally just crawl in. I have to put in so much work to make this base in the cow shed worth it. I have to say it's probably the best worst base.

One of my favorite things about DayZ is the fact that with building being so difficult to set up let alone get the materials for, it forces you to use terrain and preexisting areas. my biggest issue with games like rust and fallout 76 is that they don’t allow you to incorporate many structures into building, but here you can build literally anywhere and to great benefit!

Once again, amazing work. Though it seems like some of these viewers aren’t too familiar with where these locations are and I can’t blame them for that.(Chernarus is huge after all and takes ages before you’re able to recognise landmarks) One improvement you could make is showing where the location/locations are on a map of Chernarus then an overview like you usually do. But either way keep up the amazing work bro and I look forward to future content from you, the lofi background music is a really good touch and I’d keep going with that aesthetic. And I’m glad you haven’t covered my current base location yet :p

@@JackoKov Dont show the exact locations... these spots already get raided easily by veteran Dayz players lol. Just like most of Anarchys "hidden" spots get hit as well. same concept. I love the content and love the work put into these! you're doing the basic cover main entries not boosting thru window etc i dig it! Most players know to cover windows etc to not get shot. Keep it up and thanks again!

Most of these are pointless places to build a base and expect it to stay secure. We have a lot of very smart gamers who enjoy finding weak spots in base design. It's part of the fun of the game. I'm currently not sure how to have a truly secure base other than always having it guarded. This is a cool video and a lot of these sports are really cool. It's just that even with the most recent update beefing up the strength of base walls, people have found ways to get in.

You should do a video on certain loot spawn locations (shovels, pickaxes, for some as for I can't seem to find one on console) I like to get one so I can at least hide some stuff.

My friends choosed the svergino ruins and we found out that if you build a watchtower close enough to the wall you can go from the 3rd floor to the top of wall of the ruins

I've pretty much made all the videos about DayZ Expansion that I feel like I can make unless the developers of the mod release an update for now I think I will continue the 1.08 Vanilla DayZ guide or look into other mods for video ideas

Bro I just built a base in berezino school in north berezino, so nice man so nice 10 total airlocks a sniper tower on top and fully roofed so no choppers can raid it all doors are tier 3 and it’s door only raiding I’m In a 3 man group only 2 built the base and gathered the money and supplies for it as well

I haven’t been playing long but most of these are easily exploited. Prison island is the only one that can possibly hold up with multiple gates! Good format though! I enjoyed anyway!

Yeah I would recommend patching any holes cause people can squeeze through all the tiny gaps but glad you enjoyed the format of the video

Cherno island is easy to defend as well but it’s a contested base location tho on most severs

You can boost over those walls easy by building tent next to it ! Or jumping on car but that's vanilla

Depends on the server your playing on and their raiding rules to pick which location is best. Obviously for official servers not having a base is optimal but for servers that dont let boosting, etc you can get away with other locations

I use the small industrial double door garages (they fit one car, one tent plus multiple barrels and boxes). They need just 1 gate and cant be boosted. As long as i had my gate reinforced with metal sheets and a 4digit codelock I never got raided. Official vanilla server. Most people wont bust down a metal gate just for that small of a base. And its farely off grid.

Just one good Position, the Cherno one, but I fear that u are just showing every single house, when there are many houses with MANY windows so u can be shot at very easily. Although many of your spots dont have roofs, so u are uncovered when its raining. Pls considere that next time!

Thanks for the feedback I don't know if there will be a part 4 cause even for this one I had to throw some random spots in there to get it to a good amount I think it's just hard finding that balance of being covered from every side and having the base be cheap to prepare

For example my brother and I who just watched your video, chosed the barn with the stairs but also it was already surrounded by a barbedwired fence where u only have to fill in the gaps. That way we have 3 buildings, an apple Plantage nearby and a good amount of free open space for farming or getting the barrels out for water if it's raining. We also have a village nearby for fresh supplies if we need. All of that are important aspects.

Thank you for the tunnel idea. I found it on Izurvive drove straight to it even though those back roads is like driving through a maze lol. A lot of people can't even read a map much less know when their looking at a tunnel on one. Im on a PVP no zombies server, been here for a while like a ninja no one knows where i live. One thing though and i really hope you respond to this soon. How on earth did you make your wall and gate door reinforced that structure looks advance did this get taken out of the game? Still working on it with a guard tower inside. What are all the parts i need??

depends on what server youre on and what mods they have to let you build. Vanilla Building is logs planks nails etc OR logs nails and SHEET metal for tier 2 BBP or known as base building plus is 3 stages wood metal concrete you need a workbench then you need to craft kits to make the t1 t2 and t3 kits. In his videos he used base building plus for all that wood stuff you see using 3 short stick 1 rope to make a wall kit then a door kit or Gate kit etc...Hope this helped man!

Great video, but in my opinion, the barracks and the cow sheds are not that good of a place to make a base, especially because there a te lots of windows and the cow shed is easily wallbanged

You will have to take a long journey to move it back and forth by swimming but this means people are less likely to come and try to raid you as it will be too long a swim

Yeah I think building in a random spot is always the best call cause less chance of anyone finding it but these are just if you need a cheap base to set up in a pre-existing place

Prison island sucks, unless you factor in the elements You will want a firepit on both sides of the base. Shore side and island side. Or a bridge that is fortified but easy to snipe from the roof of prison, but offers no vantage point on prison

In the video Im using DayZ Expansion mod thats why the walls can have a gate built in but the locations are the same as regular DayZ you just need to place the normal walls or a gate

If they are tall enough you cannot jump over so I would reccommend blocking

Decent video but the title “locations guide” implies that you would provide the locations. “Cow shed” looks like a great build location but no clue where that is. Just saying.

Sorry about that you can find the cow shed locations pretty much all around the map or by using an online map like iZurvive with the farm buildings filter. Ill try to improve this for future videos

There are MULTIPLE Cow sheds on Chernarus and Livonia on Dayz Maps :D look up Izurvive and get familiarized.

Sure....? Without those mods, we cant build in half the places you showed in the video. Most of your gate placements were clipping into walls or on a slope which the game just doesn't allow.

For me, the best location, is in a small(or large) pocket of nature, set up a tent with camo on it, good to go.

Honestly? It's trash, at about 3/4 of your spots, people can boost over walls etc. You are giving new players bad advice about bases. :(
