Sorry I took so long to reply, but I'm glad you were able to figure it out. For anyone else struggling with this, I find the timing of the qcb+4 to be similar to each qcf+1. People commonly do the input too early and the game will instead give you a b+4

Yes, it is a bit tricky. I find that I need to start the dash a lot earlier than I expect, same as db+2 into qcf+4,3. Also, I feel like you need to make sure not to do the db+3+4 too quickly, otherwise the dash won't register at all

You do need a microdash for it to connect, yes. Depending on the juggle, you can do qcb+4 without a dash, but it's still awkward to do. I find that I start the dash much earlier than it feels possible for it to work.

Hey, you're welcome :) It doesn't really matter whether you're using pad, stick or hitbox to perform this technique, it just takes a bit of practice and likely a slower input than you'd expect. The input history doesn't always make this clear, but I am inputting df+3,2 and then holding down db as soon as possible. Then I am waiting for the early frames of the backsway before I press the 2. I'm essentially doing df+3~DB(hold from now on)2, wait, 2. To get used to the timing another option would be to do the df+3,2 into the backsway and then perform the db+2, gradually performing it earlier and earlier until you're doing it at the very beginning of the backsway.

@@AFriendlyTree The thing is, I can do df+3,2 into icepick with no problem (pressing b and waiting for Nina to do the the slightest bit of the backsway). But this doesn't work with db+2 😵‍💫 Thanks for the tips - I'll try them out today! 💪 On using hitbox: I heard everything is easier with hitbox, esp. movements (e.g., Hayashida, iws1 loop). But yeah, not sure if it's really necessary.

@@Ledehone I'm sure you'll get comfortable with the db+2 timing shortly, I hope the tips do help. The idea of hitbox making everything easier is a bit of a myth imo. I'll agree with the statement that hitbox makes your inputs "more precise" But having played on pad, stick and hitbox, I'm better at most things on stick. The only thing that I think is outright easier with Nina on hitbox is her hayashida step.

There are a few ways to do this, but they're when you launch the opponent backturned e.g. df+3,2,3 on their back. After the BT geyser cannon, you either do an instant geyser cannon or a qcf+1 to swap sides. You can also peel them off a wall and use df+3,2~qcb+4 to side swap and return to the wall, but that one's more awkward

It is CNT perhaps already nerfed? Thanks for all the T8 Nina content, very helpful!

You're right, it is absolutely insane. It's almost overshadowing butterflies :'( Hmm I don't have great combo ideas for either of those moves. db+1+2 was a great options after some moves before like CH b+4, but that's only valid near the wall now. same with CH (d+4),1. Otherwise it's just a punishment tool in my eyes. 3+4 sway is too slow that using it really limits your options. You need to do a sub-optimal combo to utilise 3+4 and it just doesn't seem worth it :(

The Db2 will not hit. Not sure if you would be interested in meeting in a lobby for 10mins now there is cross play, I can’t get into discord for some reason to contact you, tbh I need some serious help lol.

Ok , I am in your area, will try and make contact again, maybe I will reload discord, we chatted there before you have helped me in the past. So if db2 misses too late on input, if a back sway comes out too early pressing db2? Can get it to hit now just not consistently, very precise timing in the db2 input.
