In this DCS: AH-64D video, we’ll discuss an alternate mean of aiming rockets using the Line-of-Sight Reticle and Rocket Steering Cursor. There are multiple techniques to deliver rockets in the 64, and we hope this option will be useful. There is no correct technique, only the one that works the best for you.

@@MattWagner A thing that is clearly laking as of today, is the voices quality in DCS. Just put some voice over in a SP mission and all of the sudden every thing comes to life. Just that little trip really pumped me up for the Apache. Hear is basically the one sens we can really use to immerse ourselves in regarding simulators. It's not just an ED guy showing some new stuff, it's Wags taking us with him. Maybe it's because sound is my domain of work, but if I end up pulling the trigger on the AH-64 this little touch would be considered as the money-maker. Again, nice work ! :-)

It's actually not as hard as you would think it should be. Don't over compensate when you are moving your Joystick around, but be deliberate as well. You will probably find yourself just banking (don't yank back and bank as you will lose airspeed very rapidly) in it till you get used to what you can get away with.

Chuck's guides are the best way to get into the modules the quickest and also to refresh your memory on how things work. Purists might try to create so much detail that it's no longer fun for the majority but since it's a simplified sim you can get away with a lot less work. Remember it's just a game in the end, don't stress too much about doing it "right" and have fun with it.

Any consideration into adjusting the border size of the IHADSS ? Seems sometimes intrusive into your view and while the symbology size will not change but increasing the size of the border it will occupy less of the center of the field of view on the 2D panel. Could possibly do with a slider or adjustment on the special options tab for the AH-64. That way the pilot can adjust this to their preference Just a thought and I know it’s on the forums as a request. Thanks Matt
