DCS JF17 THUNDER FIRST AIR TO AIR MISSION
The Jeff in the right hands can be the deadliest aircraft on the virtual battlefield its SD10's radar guided missiles are properly implemented in DCS and are the most realistic missile in DCS. Its air to ground capability is on par or even better than the F16. This aircraft is awesome and I hope to make more videos with it in the future.

I think the Jeff is one of the most underrated aircraft in DCS right now. It's the easiest-to-learn of the Gen-4 fighters--very user-friendly despite complex weapon systems. It's a great weapons platform with an outstanding array of air-to-ground weaponry. It's tiny, so it doesn't have the biggest raw capacity, and it's not a strong dogfighter (but it can hold its own in a2a, as you show....). And yeah, with the exception of SEAD, I think it's better at air to ground than the F-16, simply because of the weapon restrictions on the Viper.

On the rear occasion that you can get another Jeff and run sead properly the sd-10's make it miles better than the 16 imo. Tried both and always been better with the Jeff.

@@bred8874 It's been a while for me, but as I recall the SD-10 was more likely to completely knock out the target when it hit, but you couldn't specify exactly what you were going after unless you were in pre-planned mode. Viper with a HARM Targeting Pod is pretty accurate, flexible, and dangerous on SEAD, so it wins out in my book. But my second choice for a SEAD / DEAD mission would be the Jeff. It's pretty much just point & shoot.

Because it is developed by Pakistan. Western media don't want someone have technology similar with them .that,a why they dislike it

You should try the jamming pod cuz it gives you more accurate rwr and extra situational awareness

thanks for sharing this amazing video. despite a lot of cheap propaganda by insecure Indians this Jet is getting virtual and as well as actual recognition with over 150 examples flying in Pakistani air forces it has other countries interested as well. it was co developed in China due to lack of infrastructure in Pakistan's but despite that it has the Western blood and outlook. there is no similar Chinese jet like it. it was meant to replace low tier Pakistani jets and become a workhorse as well as compliment Pakistani F-16s and it has managed that well. reason it doesn't get he recognition in the game is that its an unknown aircraft and there are so many western and Russian jets to chose from. but it has its modest following both in DCS and real world.

Very nice video. I flew the JF17 and i like its avionics and sounds in the cockpit. I recommend this aircraft in particular for naval strike as It has special weapons for naval strike 👌 You have a new subscriber from France to your channel 🤟

Deka will implement anything that block 1 and 2s have. If they'll be retrofitted with HMD we'll have that but the probabilities are low. Pakistan is putting all on the block 3 which has AESA radar, HMD with HOBS missiles, wide FOV HUD, improved engine and a pilon exclusive for the TGP

The jeffs loadout is great but it is limited by its ability to not be able to carry a lot of them at oncer and its fuel efficiency

The block 3 has aesa radar. Ws13 engines not yet though. Faaz 2 air-to-air missile currently being developed range 160-190 km. Special hardpoint for jammer or targeting pod. Hmd, better hud and some other upgrades

That aircraft is a cross between a Mirage and F-16.

Why the engagements on the server are at so low altitudes? I would have engaged the first and last targets at higher angels. The gazelle and second hornet are understandable because you had just defended. By the way JF-17 has nothing to do with China beside R&D. It's used by Pakistan (which is a major non NATO ally) and carries mostly NATO and Pakistani weapons. Also in the first stages of development an American agency helped So formally it's a blue jet but I see it quite similar to the J-10 (light and cheap single engine multirole fighter jet); futhermore in DCS JF-17 carries mostly chinese weapons and that's how I justify it being red on most servers: it basically roleplays as a J-10. Beside all that very cool video; keep up the good work
