I paint clear first before chrome which achieves a strong aluminum-ish chrome. To get better chrome, maybe try painting black backing first? kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gbGPlZh8zr3chYU.html

I am really glad you made this video. I was fortunate enough to get one of these engines off a guy. It did not come with instructions and I was lost in the sauce. Now I can follow along as I build mine. Watching the whole thing I notice I have a few parts missing, such as the butterfly linkage cable, and the fuel injectors. I hope you start making these again some day! These are incredible!

Love this V-8. @11:55 it shows a small bearing on the back side if the alternator. I do not have that in either of the motors I purchased. has this part been replaced with another piece to use? Thank you.

Hey! Love your videos! So I printed out all the parts and sprayed them chrome and exactly everything you did exactly. I had previously purchased you’d electric kit. But I’m having a few issues. The rods that go into the pulleys don’t spin after I put the belt on. And also, in the bottom of the engine, the part that is supposed to snap on like I. Your tutorial didn’t work. And the rods did not snap in so I had to hot glue them together. Abb nod also none of the bearings fit into any piece. It is currently together but just with many issues. Any ideas how I can fix all of these issues.

You will have to work around your print setting to make the printed parts fit the hardware. Message me on eBay and I will see if I can send you a few main parts that fit the hardware.

Ok I will c if I can do that. I personally don’t believe there is anything wrong with the prints. And it’s the parts that were printed in the package that don’t fit. Is there anyway that I could take a video of what’s going on and send it to you?

First, you have to like it, want to try to take this and that out, and replace parts. I use common sense in most cases to replace car parts. I may risk breaking something else in the process, but it's worth it in the end because I did it. Now I know what to do and what not to do in the future. There is a lot of information on how to do things on the internet, always research first. If there is no information about something that you want to do, then you gotta try to do it yourself using common sense and be the one to share that information to the world, both good and bad. Oh and my dad is a mechanic, I grew up watching people working on cars, trucks, bikes, tractors, etc.

Very Cool and Excelent Design !!!, Have a Question , Can I install a 130 mabuchi motor On the inside the Supercharger Body to spin Only the Supercharger Pully ?? I'm Interested only on Supercharger Pully to spin with the Idler Pulley Only !! The Reason is beacause I have a Traxxas Summit and the whole engine won't fit, Thank You
