Just completing my foundation year at Falmouth University doing a BA Hons film course at the age of 61. “The powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse” Robin Williams in Dead Poets Society

I guess the lines were changed into what we saw on screen, since I remember the scene so well.

Agreed. Knox's "romance" with Chris is a classic case of someone mistaking lust at first sight for love and giving no thought to what the other person wants or thinks. Chris made it beyond clear she wasn't interested in Knox and yet he didn't take no for an answer. I wish that plot had been used as the "One of the boys goes too far" lesson rather than Charlie's phone call from God stunt. Mr. Keating could've used Knox's obsessive objectification of Chris to caution that "'Carpe diem' doesn't mean you follow your own desires at others' expenses or live in the world that just exists in your head."
