Ajahn Brahm, I thank you for your message of love, tolerance, and peace. It only took watching your talks over and over for four years, before the message slowly sank into my thick skull. Because of you, and having a wife who also leads a Buddhist life of peace, I have surrendered my anger, and have never felt so free. Letting go of anger, I was even able to love myself. Thank you, you beautiful teacher. Namaste.

I'm hoping to get there. Neighbors seem to wear lead slippers and stomp around all day, slamming doors and cupboards. Been working on the mindfulness and "allowing and sitting with the feeling" but am not quite there yet.

210. Seek no intimacy with the beloved and also not with the unloved, for not to see the beloved and to see the unloved, both are painful. 211. Therefore hold nothing dear, for separation from the dear is painful. There are no bonds for those who have nothing beloved or unloved. Dhammapada
