Well he's won everything at Liverpool, Bayern will be paying him almost double his wages and they are guaranteed to win their league most seasons, they are an iconic club as well and also tend to reach the latter stages of CL and potential to win it. Finally a Liverpool fan that makes some sense. Probability wise Bayern will win a another UCL within the next 3 years and that UCL will be part of a treble, Liverpool it’s harder to win the UCL because your owner put you on a budget. Every German wants to play for Bayern so we have a pipe line of talent just waiting to play for us which makes us competitive in the UCL every year no matter what the budget is.

He's going to a powerhouse club that stomps most teams in Europe. He will have loads of talent around him helping him score loads of goals. He's also going down a level in terms of the league which will only help him maintain his fitness so he can focus on CL and international duty. He will be fine.

Bayern Munich is a big club in a crap league compared to the PL but I’m sure he will win more things. idk what LFC were thinking. 250k per week for Mane? Thats fair. It was reported he wanted 350k-400k per week, I thought ok thats insane, we cant pay that. But 250k per week? That is a good and fair wage and honestly a bargain for Mane. We would have a strong front 5 - Mane, Diaz, Nunez, Jota, Salah. Hell, if you count Firmino and Carvalho then a front 7 even.

The first challenge is to change country, language, environment. Mane is going to a club which is a giant in Europe, which has the same facilities as Liverpool, the same means and the same ambitions. Mane has a great feeling with Germany since his agent is German, there is a Senegalese international at Bayern and he already speaks a little or even a good deal of German. This transfer is purely logical. Mane gave his all to Liverpool, hopefully if he ever comes back against Liverpool he will be well received. It should also be noted that he was underpaid. Guess he wasn't even among the 20 highest paid players in PL. At some point, he needs his work to be financially appreciated. In a few years, his career will be over. I'm with his move and i wish him good luck, as a senegalese fan of Liverpool since 20 years and more to come !

I completely agree with you. As a non Liverpool fan I think he has been slightky under appreciated in comparison to Salah and frankly he played a big part NOT Salah in the latter half of the season to keep it to a 1 point difference for the league. I really wish him well, he has earned it.

The bundesliga still a top league if it was that easy Frankfurt who have just won the Europa league unbeaten getting better of sides from all top leagues , would have been able to finish in the top four good thing they focused on the cup competition and it paid off big time I think Bayern are honestly that good and saying Bayern is not a dream destination is just straight cap . If you now European football with your Real Madrid and Barca Bayern has always been there for me as a European giant. There is no year that you could say since 2011 that Bayern didn’t have any chance of winning the ucl. If Bayern is not a dream destination then why do world class players keep on going there? They don’t even spend massive amounts on transfers but they always have some of the best players in the world . In those six years, Mane has only won two major trophies. I don't know why pundits go on like Liverpool are dominating football, there are more successful teams in Europe. He'll have more major trophies in three maybe two seasons at Bayern than he ever achieved at Liverpool.

In 2019 everyone said Bayern is dead and not a big club anymore. In 2020 they dominated Europe. Now Bayern is a small club again. Also Real Madrid was overlooked by all these biased English pundits before the season but in the end they smacked the English teams. These people have to understand that things can change so quickly nowadays. Bayern might not the favourites winning the UCL 22/23 but they definitely have the chance.

What a load of rubbish.... Bayern lost 5 Bundesliga games last year. Both City (2) and Liverpool (3) lost less games. There's this myth that the premier league is more competitive all the way down the table and that anyone can beat anyone on their day.... the numbers say otherwise don't they. It's just a fact that it happens no more often here. He also said it doesn't happen "abroad" in general. I looked at Serie A, Ligue 1 and La Liga and the top 2 teams in those leagues ALL lost more games last season than both City and Liverpool. 2:56 He seems to be talking about foreign leagues in general when he says : "They put the fixure list so at the end of the season you've still got something to play for". I couldn't find any evidence that the fixture lists are constructed in such a way.

I see your point and agree its not as bad as Saunders is making out. But the bundesliga is not as competitive. They can coast in games in the German league to win whereas in the premiership although man City and Liverpool list less, the majority of the games are a grind and tough. That can't be said for the Bundesliga, I watch it and they don't have to put a shift in most games. Like Conte said the premiership is the toughest league because even at 2-0 up with 30 mins to go its not over.

Bayern is such a gigantic Football Club and will always be there in terms of challenging for the Champions League and if he turns up there in 3rd gear guys like Thomas Müller, Joshua Kimmich or Manuel Neuer will annihalate him in the dressing room. Those are much more decorated Players than Mane is. 12 Goals like 30 Aubameyang scored around 25-30 Goals in 3 Seasons in Germany In England he scored around 20-25. There is a gab in quality yes but COME ON MAN NOT LIKE THIS Son didn't score 20 Goals playing for Bayer Leverkusen Put Lewandowski in Liverpool or ManCity and he will outscore Salah easily

Mane is a modern day legend at LFC! No one can deny this. In the 20/21 season Mane lost a yard of pace. Last season Diaz was signed as a left winger! Diaz was MOTM in both domestic cup finals. Mane played number 9 from February till the end of the season. He was very good but LFC didn’t score in 3 cup finals. LFC required an out & out number 9. Nunez is an outstanding signing. He is 22 and on 140k a week. Mane is 30 and wanted 360k a week. Mane leaving is sad but ultimately both club (LFC) and mane will benefit from this move. Everyone has done well out of this deal. Nunez is the future now. Mane will always be an LFC legend 👍

No I don’t think mane lost a yard of pace in that season mate. I think that year took its toll on a lot of players. This season after a slow start he has looked the sharpest he’s been in a long time. He’s scored some really important goals for Liverpool in some key league games. I just think both him and salah should see out their primes at Liverpool until they are 33ish then move to the less intense European leagues. Like the bloke says, the next two years for them two players could be their best. The perfect combination of physicality and experience. And this coming from a United fan

how is bayern a much better club , why because they have won the bundesliga year in year out , like comparing apples with oranges the teams bayern are up against year in year out than liverpool are , so much easier for bayern to win the bundesliga than trying to win the premier league ,

@@capsy9 because they are the last team to win 6 trophies in one season. Why is city or Liverpool-better? Didn’t both of them lost against Madrid ? Are you going to say they dominated the game ? How’s that making anyone better ? When was the last time city won champions league ? How much money did Bayern spent compared to any English clubs ? If it was that easy why didn’t English teams win champions league this year ? Also if premier league is that strong why city won four out of five? Because someone plays with possession does not mean they are better. Go watch Bayern 2019-2020

@@kankala358 you talk man city won 4 out the last 5 how many has bayern won out the last 10 lol , german league is easier for bayern to win , as soon as klopp took it off bayern 2 years running bayern went and stole his best players , english clubs would fare better in europe if they shut down over xmas like all the other leagues do , you could clearly see liverpools legs were gone toward the end of the season playing the most games you can play in a season , if it wasnt for courtois man of the match performance liverpool would of had real madrid ,

I'm a huge Pl fan but man other leagues are not bad too... Bundesliga plays different style of football, la liga plays a different style, serie a plays its own style ...tbh football is beautiful and unique... # it's a good move for Mane to enjoy different style of football and new experience on it....

He must be doing it so that he can help his country more. If he earns more, and is keen on his philanthropic work, going to BM enables this aspect of his life to flourish...also with less pressure (probably) on the playing field.
