What other things you have heard your kids miss out on because you are homeschooling?

I always hear that they'll miss out on socialization. But I always think that that isn't true. There's other ways to socialize besides school. And I think teaching at home could help build self-esteem and teach them to be individuals, so that they won't be tempted by peer pressure. I'm sure there's benefits to both. But I see a lot of benefits with homeschooling.

@@ImKelliJones Homeschooled kids actually have more opportunities than other kids. It is crazy how many things we have to say “no” to. 🤔

That is so true that there's so many other ways to do the things they love. One of my friend's who homeschools, her son is on a swim team and plays soccer.
