A quick Beginner's Guide that tells you all you need to know and doesn't waste your time! Decapre is an aggressive new character with plenty mix-ups at her disposal! This tutorial will cover her Normals, Special Moves, Super, and Ultras. Plus, some Bread and Butter combos to get you started!
BUTTON TRANSLATION
Attacks
LK: light kick
MK: medium kick
HK: heavy kick
LP: light punch
MP: medium punch
HP: heavy punch
PP/KK: Ex Attacks
Directions:
f - forward
b - back
u - up
d - down
qcf - quater-circle forward
qcb - quarter-circle back
f, qcf - dragon punch
FADC - Focus Attack Dash Cancel

i personally though it was perfect seems more improved from when you used to do them for injustice. i would personally like for you to the all the newcomers first hopefully it inspire more ppl to pick them up online

I love the guides their awesome. My own personal opinion on how they could be improved is helpful tips on which moves are good instead of just listing them like good wake up move and good ways to keep up pressure. Keep up the awesome work great to hear the voice again

Make sure to leave annotation ON just in case I need to add in extra information or correct mistakes. For instance 6:19 should be: jHP - MP - Red Focus Cancel - Dash - MP>HK - Air Throw

Ethan Healy R2. Usually after the attack is happening you can hold it down. Or you push it at the same time as the attack.

Great stuff! .... Here is what could make this better in my opinion. 1. If you are going to break down normals/specials, focus on only the notable useful ones. EX. Dudley, he rarely if ever uses standing light kick, so no need to go over it. 2. Here is a good flow for your style of tut vid to follow: Character Overview --> Notable Normals & Specials --> Anti-Air --> Hit-Confirms/ BnB's --> Punish Combos --> Finish off with combos into ultra and the famous "Iiiii love you"

One question , how do I execute all these moves so fast lol ! That's my biggest problem = =" Im confident at my reaction and my eyes catching the opponent's movement , my biggest problems is my character or basically myself moving that fast =( .

Your guide videos are good. Just put more info like you did with injustice. Like "what's a good wakeup attack?" and "what move is most useful?" Oh and I would like to see you do Ken. I just started playing this game and I could use some helpful tips. :)

Reversals are the same as Wake-up attacks. So, listen for when I say that phrase ;)

Ya talkin' abt her trial, right? (with opponent on the right) After initiating the EX Scramble, hold down+right immediately. When close enough, press punch for Break but don't let go of the arrow keys. Finally, with the opponent in air, do the delta motion. Hope it helps

I'm still in training with Decapre. Before her I never liked playing with charge characters. She's the reason why I play with charge characters, mainly her. I just need to know the input command for the move shown at 4:08.

Her pscho sting is pretty good. It has a large hit-box and has high priority. Outside of that, she doesn't have many. She can always meet them in the air and throw.

At 4:05 you state that the Ex version cannot be combo'd into but it can with st HP after the first hit. I do jump HP, st HP, Ex scramble for a decent 1 meter w/knock down.

6:18 This combo isn't really worth the 3 EX bars, is it? I mean, any combo that uses Red Focus would work for some gd eye candy Also, there are a few bread and butter combos with anti-air DCM (like the classic TC1 to DCM or Scramble break to DCM etc.)

ralph johnne Frames. If a move is +3, you recover three frames before the opponent does when they block. If they block a positive frame attack, you can block before they can counter. An unsafe move has negative frames, so they can counter easily with moves like shoryuken

I don't believe that the light rapid dagger is safe on block. Was testing this in training and was able to consistently hit a reversal SRK.

Hmmm. Perhaps the frame data that I read was wrong. Since it stated that it wasn't punishable. I also see a lot of tournament players use it to end block strings and never get punished for it. Even in Grand Finals. Perhaps it just has to be spaced properly.

You charge back (for just over a second) then press forward, then back, then forward again but with a punch attack as well.

literally only do super if you can hit confirm it and it will definitely get you the game, otherwise use your meter on more useful things like EX scrambles, stinger fadcs, and better combos her super does not do good damage or chip

Make sure to charge back+down for a bit. Then, make sure to jump up+back to continue the charge. Finally, press forward+K to make the attack come out. Hope this helped ;)

I didn't say that it was positive on block. Just that it couldn't be punished. I'm pretty sure that anything over -4 is punishable.

TrueUnderDawgGaming many shotos have a dp with only three frames startup or grabblers a grab with only two frames startup. You can pressure with lp hands yes, but against many shotos and mainly grabblers i wouldnt use hands at all, since it can be punished, even the lp hands version (on block).

Lol Tru3talent uses Psycho Stream dashes forward a bit then medium/hard scrambles over the opponent and u can guess what happens after that.
