I'm consistently impressed by the design of levels in Sunlust. They at least look interesting, and at best just looks very stylish and cool, like this one.

For some reason I've never heard of this WAD before, and I'm consistently impressed with the level design and soundtrack. I love anything spacey or sci-fi, and Sunlust seems full of it. I like to think it's a WAD that takes place in the dimension-hopping interim between Doomguy choosing to stay behind in Hell and slowly becoming the Doom Slayer we see in Doom 2016 Looks like I'm spending the weekend diving into Sunlust and seeing whether that torn asshole belongs to me or the demons...

The music track is called "Dreams" from the video game "The Incredible Machine". I love this track. Within seconds I recognized it!

The Caco Cloud fight took me like 2 hours the first time. Cool to see someone good at doom just stomp it.

I love the blind runs, but I loved this video too! I just think extreme difficulty + your calming presence is a good combination, whatever the format.

These runs inspired me to fire up Sunlust again myself. Even though he dies from time to time, decino makes it look easy. Props dude! I've been with your channel for some time now. Best DooM channel on the platform.

You know, the architecture here really feels like it was the main inspiration for The Forges in Amid Evil. All glowing green skies and dark metal plates. Really, really gorgeous theme.

This map is SPICY. And I don't mean jalapeño, more like vodka and pickle juice. It burns good on the way down and leaves you asking for more, but _man_ does it burn. Next stop, Kinetics, AKA Proxyon but indoors. It's another tough break, but with great music as well.

That map took me a lot of patience to figure out. It’s clever and challenging. Brace yourself, hardest maps of the wad incoming!

Referring to barons and hellknights as "big imps" actually makes a lot of sense. Mechanically they are identical.

Each video inches fowards towards the 2 maps im really excited for, i cannot wait for 29 and 30.

I love the aesthetic of this map, the vibrant green and dark brick textures contrast really well, it's like an awesome sci-fi space citadel or something. Very well made map

Fantastic map! I love tight fights. That room with the specters and imps caused this to take me way longer than I thought. Had the rest of the map down though. Especially with the 4 bfg shots I saved for the caco room. Killing all the cacos before the revs poured in allowed me to funnel rockets down their spawn. 4 maps left! So close to the end of this journey. Great video as always by the by.

its nice to see such hard maps have beautiful landscapes and details. God Machine will be a treat.

I really like that the "imp-stairs fight" is hard because you only have the rocket luncher and the level geometry tries to screw you over. It would have been easy if you had a better weapon. I'm impressed you done it, and I really enjoyed it.

That was a crazy fight with the Cacodemon cloud and Revenant boiz. Super small area to work with. 👌😬

It's very satisfying to watch you playing Sunlust while playing this wad too. BTW, 10:00 In that room I've used another trick. Grab a supercharge and quickly go under rising hell knights, it'll push you up and you can slip over the wall, then kill them safely from chaingunner's roof. Keep rockin' man, you're amazing!

I'm grateful that Decino plays these ultra-tough wads. I care more about the architecture of level design and this kind of intensity stresses me out (even just watching it is rough), especially since I only play DooM in VR these days. Been playing the damn game since the early days, but wish more level creators would make more laid back experiences because their work truly is art.

Well, I tried this map for the first time just recently and figured the two fights contained here are an absolute pain to overcome both in a single segment. Mad props to people who achieve this.

I'm only half way through the video but I'm sure I've said it before but I really am impressed with the maps on sunlust they look really well designed and there's been a few which again I believe I've said before look really hard to do unless you know what your doing definitely the last two are maps that the must have a plan of attack in mind to complete. Also one other thing I do really like that you start with a blind run first and I know that basically any new map anyone does is a blind run but I mean it in the fact that you show your blind runs and show the bloopers which I think is really cool dispite how good are there still are maps that get on top of you for the first time which shows as well just how hard some of these maps are. Anyway brilliant play through

There is some legendary commentary in this one. 1) After decino beats 2 fights that are harder than everything I have beaten in DooM combined: "Right, now the next encounter is one of the harder ones." (me: "You what?") 2) After he beats the level: "What I especially like about this level is... *proceeds to literally say every single thing that can describe a level*". (me: *nods*)

Super shotgun pain ticks - 1:27 He got some good rolls with 3 pain states right off the bat...... but not when he needed them the most when he had no wall to hide behind. Now that's real RNG. If your butt ain't on fire you ain't playing sunlust. Or maybe you just have hemorrhoids. Or both. Yikes.

Not much to say, that was a great run, and a bit more fair than the last map. Onwards to the next!

This map kicks ass. Very indicative of Sunlust's style and difficulty. Slaughter can be beautiful puzzles in a dance of death. Uncle decino is an artist of the highest caliber; beauty through ripping and tearing. _We're getting so close to_ *GOD MACHINE* _boise._ _My hype is becoming dangerously high for the UV-MAX single segment._ _THAT, is how the QuakeCon girls, à la Civvie, are a lock if you do that madness._

Even though this WAD "borrows" a lot of music and aesthetics from other games, it'sall placed really well,and I have to say the back end of this WAD is not terrible like in so many WADS. I also amliking the ovbious increase of dififculty at the back end too.

Sunlust is amazing, before eviternity its my favorite (obviously I have not the necesary to beat them, but your videos help a lot) My "top" are Sycthe → Hell Revealed → Momento Mori → Sycthe 2 → Momento Mori II → Eternal Doom → Alien Vendetta → Hell Revealed II → Back To Saturn X → Sunlust → Eviternity

Gorgeous map. Looks like it's best enjoyed for us laymen on 'Hey not too rough' though. Not the biggest fan of arena slaughters myself.

All the green fire and green sky makes me think of a Burning Legion world from WarCraft. Trippy. Holy crap I would not be able to do this single segment though.
