I always am in awe of people like you who can just put things together in such a beautiful way. I can look at something and know what I love...but to try to achieve that look is another thing! I just finished mopping and as soon as the floor dries I’m going to have the hubs pull out all the Christmas decorations and I’m so excited to decorate!!!

Ok… my hubs and I finally splurged and bought our first Christmas tree (we’ve been married 9 years and have been using a hand-me-down tree from my aunt that was literally falling apart). We got one from Home Depot and… oh good gravy… I LOVE it! It’s prelit so 4 snaps and it’s up and lit!!! I’m so happy!!!

Loved watching this! I find it fun that all corners of the world have their own style of what kind of decorations go on the tree.. For example, ribbons on a christmas tree is not a thing in my country, but you made them look pretty!

This year my friend decided to decorate her tree in blue, we are adults but it was not comfortable to continue to say that blue balls were needed especially when she was asking the store employees for that item; you are correct.... calling them baubles is a better choice. Happy 🎄 Holidays!

I was looking away when the little critter (Dottie) was on your shoulder. I was like, did I miss a video? When did she get a racoon? How in the world did she tame it? hehe All I saw was the tail. lol. Oh man you are like Snow White with all the animals flocking to you. I love it.

Ahhh dottie is so sweet, giving you a helping "head" 🥰 How does she react to all the decorations? We just decorated here last weekend. Normally it is traditional here in the Netherlands to wait to decorate for Christmas until December 6th, because of the Sinterklaas celebration on dece,ber 5th but we don't celebrate it really so I wanted to have it out for at least a solid month, trying to fase out some of the olde baubles but my husband but all the red ones in again.....
