I found an wiki how article on “how to act like you’re a witch in middle school”. There was a question that asked “does this only work for people middle school?”and there was an answer that said “no it doesn’t have to be only for middle school, i am a 37 year old single mother and i use this at work to make people obey my commands.” It is frightening to me that adults use these kind of wiki how articles.

There was an article i read on "How to be a mermaid" and it was very similar to the ice powers one. It started off with very mundane tips like "spend time at the beach" or "join your highschool swimming club". Then it started telling you to be all secretive and refuse to swim in front of your friends because then they'll see your true form.

As a person who actually has fainting spells fairly often, I can say that I wouldn't recommend it since I have had and have multiple concussions. But I do get out of things I don't want 🤷

How to actually pretend to faint: Start acting tired and woozy amd when someone asks you, say you’re fine, then, after a few seconds start tripping a little, than just fall onto the nearest table / desk and just keep your face frozen, than after like 10 seconds slowly get up and groggily moan.

Like 5 years ago I had a „not like other girls“-phase and wanted to be a legit superhero/villain (didn’t really matter) so I read _several_ Wikipedia articles on how to be a superhero and stuff like that. I also tried for a few weeks to make people think I’m a secret agent by sneaking around school, telling people I have plans and obviously making up what I have planned, and letting an app call me and then saying „I told you not to call me here“ into my phone

When I was little I would pretend to faint all the time. But never to convince people I actually fainted. I literally just thought it was fun. Then in middle school I was cast in a play as a dude who's only purpose was to faint. All my years of extremely hard work and dedication finally paid off that day.

When I was in the third grade, I was in the girls bathroom with a group of friends and this one girl, Ophelia, started talking about how she couldn't wash her hands because she turned into a mermaid whenever she got wet so my best friend ran her fingers under the faucet and flicked them at her. She rain into one of the stalls, shut the door and said "Oh, not now!" so one of my friends peeked under the stall and confirmed that she still had legs. Edit: A good addition to this is when my elementary school friend tried to convince me that he had super senses because his dad was a cop, and could tell that the flagpole in the parking lot was exactly 36.4 (or something like that) meters away just by smelling the air.

As someone who legitimately faints occasionally, how you would get out of things by fainting isn't actually the fainting itself. I'm usually only unconscious for 5-10 seconds (long enough to hit the ground), but the disorientation and dizziness can last for up to half an hour depending on the situation. I once lost memory of about 10 minutes before and after the faint. It's more the side effects of fainting that make you unable to do anything afterwards.
