In this video I discuss a few pro and cons of the Zulus LRF following a Michigan early season crop permitted Whitetail Deer Hunt. I film shots and highlight the optic.

Great video amigo My Zulus LRF just arrived yesterday .. Dropped it on my Tikka T3x super varmint in 223 .. I'm gonna set up the calculator to track a Hornady 60 grain Vmax .. Next week outta be fun..

Ordered and had my Zulus within a week (to central Illinois) which was much faster than I expected. The LRF is spot on with my Vortex LRF and the night illuminator will more than suit my needs for yotes and steel. The instruction booklet is a little lacking but the countless videos on here have been a lifesaver. A few questions though - 1. how will I be notified of firmware updates? 2. when will 20 and 35 moa mounts be available in the U.S?

Very good question on how to know about updates. I suspect if you routinely log it on it may prompt you. As for different mounts....I wish I knew also. It is a fun unit....enjoy!!

What’s the legality of using a “night scope” for a Michigan daytime deer hunt? Would love to use mine for that application but I’m not sure how a warden would feel about it.

There is nothing illegal about using a digital optic in daytime for the hunt. These are great tools for recording the hunt and teaching tools.

I use h4350 powder cci primers and sst bullets for this load.

Great video. Nice bonus deer hunt. Having several Arken scopes, the Zulus has me wavering over the order button. Debating the range finding version. In for a penny, in for a pound? Thx for the great content. Very good camera personality.

Regarding the two. I have both and though I thought the lrf would be of less use I have found just the opposite. The retical choices are not real conducive of hold over and no way to dial an adjustment. So...the ballistic application sending adjustments to the lrf has been key for me. Now...if never plan to shoot much beyond your zero distance...then totally no lrf needed. Thanks for chiming in.

A lot of guys on the forums have been complaining about Arken taking months to fill their orders. Any input on that?

Yea. I've made some content actually dedicated to the subject. Aside from the shipping fiasco of usps that was out of their control the company could do a better job updating buyers on back order status. Things got.a big wild following a big sale, I sense the under estimated sales. From what I see thing are for most part back to running timely.

@RugerGundog when.huntimg with the 5 to 25 last year some how got dew and water in scope had a big buck came out could not see threw scope not waterproof to me junk been shooting long distance 35 year had all brands i.ended up.killin.that buck in.ja 2024 scored 191..could see great threw my vortex
