Unlike other killers, you control Chucky in a third person perspective instead of first person, because you’re actually playing as the killer’s spirit, puppeteering the doll around. And also because that view would be waaaaay to close to the ground and would make probably make people nauseous.

0:17 I was also traumatized by Chucky as a child, I had a couple people in my family who thought it was funny that when I get scared so they decided to scare me with a Chucky doll and I've never been able to watch Chucky after that.

When I was 15 I took part in a horror movie prank that I’m convinced left lasting trauma and I still feel fucking terrible about it to this day. An upperclassman friend of mine, this big, burly kid who was on the Junior Football team had just seen Texas Chainsaw Massacre and it like, really fucked him up. I don’t think he had much experience with horror movies at all, this was in rural Kansas so lots of parents had rules against them. Anyway, semi-long story short, me and some other guys got this guy into the sports equipment shed at school after a late practice, locked the door so he couldn’t get out, and then had one of our other friends rev a chainsaw outside the window while wearing a hockey mask (we also didn’t watch a lot of horror movies so we just knew that a hockey mask was a slasher thing, not a Jason thing). The guy started screaming, tried the door once, and just completely lost his shit when he couldn’t get out. Full on animal noises, terrified mewling, it was bad. We pretty much immediately knew we had gone way too far and unlocked the door, but he was so freaked out I don’t think he noticed. He threw a vaulting horse through the window and sprinted off into the night. I can only assume he ran all the way home and called the police because boy did the teams get a talking to the next day. We all kept our mouth shut and nobody owned up to it so we got away with the regular collective punishment football coaches all love. But yeah, I can’t imagine that didn’t do some lasting damage. Poor kid.

Woah i was not expecting you guys to react to Chuck so soon after the content released live! Awesome to see it! Chucky for myself was the first horror movie I saw, accidentally watching it when I was 9 while my mom was in the room thinking I was sound asleep xD. I kept a wall of stuffed animals around me when i slept for years to protect me from Chucky haha

Chucky is by far the best killer addition to the game. It's fun to play with and against him. And his voice lines are the cherry on the top. DBD really hit the nail on that one

Already got him in-game. He looks fun. Tiffany, his girlfriend in the movies, comes as a legendary skin for him and she also has her lines when you play her. And both are voiced by the original actors from the movies: Brad Dourif and Jennifer Tilly. Hell, yes.

I love how they are finding ways to adapt killers to fit with the gameplay of the game that you would think wouldn't. Like with Pinhead and Sadako not actually physically touching their victims or Chucky with his small size.

Chucky is voiced by hus original actor. Tiffiny is also a legendary skin for chucky and is voiced by her orginal voice actor. I knew her as bonnie from family guy before Tiffany so now im playing the game just imagining bonnie is the soul inside the doll who finally snapped and became a murderer

Chucky was my first childhood horror trauma conga I had as a kid. Tbh I freaking called it. Chucky being in DBD...even with the lifting survivors up animation. The only thing I got wrong was the Twins gameplay aspect. I think I've asked for this little 💩 to be in DBD ever since 2018. Either way to say that Im elated is an understatement.

Honestly I've never found Chucky to be threatening by horror movie standards. Like Jason is an unstoppable monster, jigsaw is an expert planner who can create no-win situations, and Chucky is... A doll, who has the same weaknesses as a doll, like being kicked

One thing i hate about chucky is people even as young as 12 year olds saying they can beat him but like hes a very agile target thats also hard to hit because of being small,with the power of a human,i tell everyone the simple fact that if you tried to "kick him away " hed just stab them in the leg,let me just say that again but in a shorter phrase. A CHILD thinks they can kill a serial killer in a small,very hard to hit body when the killer has human level strength and can come back from death

Fun Fact: In science fiction, "singularity" is the point at which the differences between biological and artificial intelligence are indistinguishable. Don't worry, Bethany. Even survivor mains have that one killer that they resonate with. Even with how little I actually play, I still love Trickster and Artist enough that they are the two I actually spent money on.
