At first I thought Shay was just a one dimensional villain from the trailers but after playing his story he feels more like the first Anti Hero in the series. He's definitely in the morally grey area and a Templar but still manages to be likeable.

I'm a Haytham Kenway fanboy. He showed the player the Templar perspective, and during that era the Assassin Brotherhood lost it's purpose and Haytham was in the right. He deserved his own game

Altair is also the only assassin that had a piece of Eden for a long time (the misthios, Kassandra or alexios, had the trident for thousands of years but I don't know if it's really a piece of Eden), and even master it. He change the hidden blade, create a easier way to make them so most assassins can have 2, create the desing to make the gun that ezio used, learn about the world being round, expanded the brotherhood, change the creed, was betrayed, exiled of the assassins, came back as an old man (over 50 years old in 1100 was very old), saw a son die, accidentally kill his wife, send his other son to Europe to "create another base to expand" (even when he knew that he would never see his son again) and most importantly, he never stopped learner from the piece, even when it would make others go crazy. When he was on a similar situation, ezio not only leave the peace where he found it, he leave the brotherhood kind in fear of the piece power and/or knowledge. In game, ezio can use the piece like a weapon in assassin's Creed brotherhood, charging it to expand the area of the killing, in exchange of his life and even making him kneel, while Altair just had to elevate the piece over his head to kill everyone who saw it and it doesn't make him even twitch an eye. To me, Altair is the best one by far

Shay was definitely the sleeper pick of this draft arguable the deadliest Assassin/Templar from the colonies and also has the most experience fighting other assassins.

I never thought of you both have amazing set for drafting assassins as each side is unique and interesting 😁 with that said, I am surprised we didn’t get Layla, William Miles, Daniel Cross, Subject 16, or any modern assassins in the draft. But seeing Desmond is a nice touch to put in.

Shao Jin DESERVES her own AC game! The setting of China where she is from would be the perfect settint for an AC game! The amount of parkour possibilities in the Chinese cities of Beijing, Nanking, etc during the middle ages woukd be really fun.

Really surprised Arbaaz got picked the last one. In the games and comics, he is portrayed as a ghost, a master of stealth. Plus, he also has a very easy going personality (at least in the games and comics) not unlike Jacob, which in my opinion, makes him quite the funny character. On the other hand, I'm not surprised at all Ezio was picked the first one 😂 He is awesome. I've really enjoyed the video, keep up the good work!!

I'm pretty sure (I could be wrong) that haytham didn't make himself the grandmaster templar, he was kinda forced to as the templars in England told him to go to America and establish the templar order there which lead to him becoming grandmaster since he was the only person in America at the time that had the credentials to do so. And if you ask me haytham is a very interesting templar as despite being very loyal to the order, he does tend to betray them from time to time for his family.

Now this is an interesting segment! I wish you guys could do more of this also in other games. But going back to the topic, both teams are stacked. But Kassandra and Alexios are literally demigods and Eivor is a reincarnation of Odin so they have a huge advantage but to make it fair, remove their godly powers, Kass & Alexios’ spear of Leonidas, their Millenia of experience and make them just a mercenary and a viking with an experience of a human misthios and a viking. I think Beth’s team leans more on stealth since Aya, Altair, Shao Jun, Arno and Desmond specializes on those. Idk much about Nikolai cuz I haven’t read the comics. Eivor, Alexios, Adewale is more on a head on fight cuz they all lead their crew. I think when it comes to leadership skills, Beth’s team got it cuz Aya is the founder, Altair made several discoveries that helps the Brotherhood centuries later, Eivor with his team of Vikings and Jacob with his gang. On the other hand, Ken’s team is for fighting head on. He got the Kenway family, Connor is a walking tank who charges into the front lines while cannons are bombarding his direction and probably the most brutal Assassin in the series, Edward doesn’t fight fair, Haytham is a sophisticated, cold blooded killer. Ezio is the jack of all trades, Kassandra like Alexios is also an experienced Misthios. Bayek is tenacious af. I think Evie is the only one that really relies on stealth on Ken’s team since she avoids direct conflicts. I can’t make a comment on Aveline, Arbaz and Shay cuz I haven’t played their games. In conclusion, sorry Beth but I gotta give the W to Ken 😅 This is all just my 2 cents. My apologies for the long post, I’m just a huge fan of your channel and the AC games 🙂

If I could only pick 10 (and pick all the ones I want obviously). My picks would be; Alexios, Altaïr, Arno, Bayek, Connor, Desmond, Edward, Ezio, Haytham, and Shay.

In a fist fight Connor would beat them all. Not counting the Demi god and the Viking who both have super powers. If I could pick I would pick the Kenway family Edward, Connor and Haytham in their prime. Bold and assertive, trustworthy and strength, knowledge and patience.

Ken's team slams in a fight. Really both teams have great characters but Ken has Edward, Connor, and Bayek - the three strongest assassins - Ezio, the one who revolutionized the Assassin Order. In regards to Haytham, he is to the Templars what Ezio is to the Assassins, and though his son may be stronger, he is much more ruthless. Shay Patrick Cormac who by definition is the best assassin on this list. He literally assassinated Assassins for a living! Also, his story is probably the saddest in Assassin's Creed and he's by no means a villain. An anti-hero for sure, but a lot of what he does is justified. Bethany's team is full of strong characters as well. My favorite character will always be Altair and he's definitely the most well-rounded in this group. Aya is badass as well with great feats. Adewale is more savage than Edward though I still give Edward the skills since he could compete with rival Assassins and Templars, unlike Adewale who got killed by Shay :( . A lot of people might disagree, but I think Desmond is one of the most powerful Assassins if not THE most powerful. He has lived through the entire lives of Altair, Ezio, and Connor through the Animus, so much so that in 3 he is able to storm the Abstergo building and solo the entire Templar security force. The only problem with Desmond being on this team is that every other powerhouse is on Ken's side, so it kinda falls short. Arno, Jacob, and Nikolai are all cool but they're lean more to the sneaky side of assassination, which is advantageous but you have the literal originators and aficionados of the Order on the other team. Alexios is about the same as Kassandra in all metrics, and Eivor is just as strong as Kassandra/Alexios if not stronger. Honestly a really interesting draft. Now that I'm looking at it more clearly, it may be more even than I thought, but I still give it to Ken. I could see Ezio and Haytham big-braining a plan and using Edward, Connor, and Bayek to power through their enemies while Shay picks them off one by one.

Out of topic but seeing Evie being a fan favorite in Syndicate, Kassandra and fem Eivor eventually being the main protagonist, and Aya being one of the founders I think AC has a huge potential for marketing on a solo female assassin story, not a female counterpart or a female version of a character but Ubisoft is just idk scared to jump the gun since Aveline's game tanked. I mean imagine if Shao Jun got a full solo game with her being old-man Ezio's protege that alone would be a fitting way to carry on Ezio's story or legacy. Crossing my fingers that the assassins in Codename Red and Hexe are females but if they're doing a female counterpart I hope they do it right.

This was an excellent idea, and fun video. Would definitely love to see this format applied to other franchises, even ones you've already done! As for the teams, sorry Bethany, but any team that has Ezio, Edward, and Connor, I have to go with!😁 In my opinion, Ezio's trilogy(especially 2 and Brotherhood), 3, and Black Flag were/are the high point of the franchise. I won't say it's been all downhill from there, but none of the games since really do it for me the way those do. Also want to agree with other comments I've seen and say that while Shay may come across as a douche, he is indeed quite justified in his actions and decisions, and does have likable traits, including loyalty to those he feels have earned it. To be honest Ezio will always be number one, I mean there is a reason Ezio is the only character who have been the main role in more than 1 game, and he have had the main role in 3 assassins creed games.

Kind of hard to call this one. Beth's team has hella experience and knowledge, but Ken's team has absurd talent and skill.

Arno is the only one who gets to play with himself. ... I mean, 4 player multiplayer, all of them Arno. LUL On a serious note, though, in terms of actually being overpowered in combat, Arno takes that crown for me. His is one of the few games where an assassin actually feels invincible. Though they probably shouldn't.

Kassandra win every time. Also if like you have both Kassandra and Alexios who interchangeable, where's male Evior? Like yeah the other 2 would both play a role on who you picked and canonically Kassdra is the hero, but Odin Evior has a place!
