How are your canning projects? I keep messing up on mine I’m ready to give up. My canner ran dry two days ago, don’t know why. I spilled bone and chicken broth each day since all I’ve the counters, cabinets and floors. Totally my fault. I just think I’m not cut out for this. I’m waiting on four beef stroganoffs right now. 🤞nothing goes wrong.

I have never had any problems with canning, except maybe an occasional jar not sealing, but never any other troubles. If your canner is running dry, that can be caused by quite a few things, from jar syphoning to lid related issues, to even rapid temperature changes. If you are doing everything correct, and you see nothing wrong with the canner itself (such as the seal), that you may want to contact the company that made your canner and see if there happened to be any design flaws. If the problem of the canner running dry is not corrected, it can cause your jars to break and the canner to warp. There must be a reason and hopefully you can find it before you give up. ❤

@@CHwT thank you! The stroganoff came out fine, three sealed fine and the fourth took about an hour to ping. This time it didn’t run dry so hoping it running dry was a fluke with the regulator may be not set down properly.
