I have an i7 model. It's a beautiful machine. I use it in my home studio for music production.

I’ve got one with an Intel Core i7, 8gb ram, and a 500gb hard drive. It was great until I dropped it twice. Now it’s quite slow. I had to get a replacement hard drive.

That is a mini display port not a thunderbolt port, but I believe you can get a dock for this laptop that includes a thunderbolt port.

Mine is a Touchscreen carbon fiber that I bought in 2018. Only now I am having some issue - the screen went blank and I only can use connected with an external screen. But I enjoy this laptop SO MUCH. And you have no idea how many times I dropped, kicked, stepped on, spilled liquids on keyboard, etc. Never intentionally though lol. I am looking to update for the newer model for 2021 (sooo expensive) with the same construction material, because this is probably the most sturdy machine I ever had it and after upgrading the RAM, just became amazing! It traveled with me between states and abroad! If anyone can get one with i7 and 16 rqm/500 ssd Samsung, I believe will be very happy experience! And anyone can buy one with simpler configuration and upgrade later on!,

Can i play far cry 5 in low spec settings in this device?

I have this in i7-4600 and 16G of Ram. I paid $325 for it. It was a heavy but fast machine. Now, it's just heavy.

got an e7440 with i7, 16gb ram, 256SSD and a fullhd display for 230€. only downsides so far are the touchpad and it runs a bit too hot and noisy

Would I be able to run Minecraft smoothly on this laptop? Also is it possible to upgrade the graphics card?

I don't understand the limited resolution you mentioned here. This model has a native res of 1920x1080 when I look up the specs.

how are people doing with photo editing and video editing now with this. Saw one for 345 8 ram 500gb I will use an SSD hard drive. I'm also looking at software that's not Adobe for photo editing

Great video. I love this model, probably one of the best laptops I have ( and I actually have 3 of these ). Never let me down and it's quite solid. I have few tips for anyone looking for such machine: 1. AVOID the non-IPS low-resolution screen at any cost, it's horrible. Look around for the full HD model with the IPS panel. 2. Use a high-quality SSD like Samsung to have the best performance possible for this platform. 3. Install at least 8GB RAM ( 16GB max if possible ) and you will have one snappy machine to work on. Honestly, the only drawback I can think of right now is the lack of M2 slot and the outdated processor. But still, it performs like a charm.
