A couple of hours normally. You can adjust the brightness, it dims to save power.

+Jose Manuel Albaladejo mine had a type c and no dvd reader. I suggest you contact the company selling to confirm as there are a number of varieties.

Jose Manuel Albaladejo...there are many models of this laptop and so does its features..I'm using the i5 version and it has an optical drive but no discrete graphics and type c..type c is only available in the models that don't have an optical drive.

I have bought this laptop one week ago from Kolkata, India... It comes with i5 8th gen, 1tb internal HDD, no SSD slot, 2gb DDR5 AMD Readon graphics, having white backlit keyboard(can't change it's colour), 8gb DDR4 Ram & comes with Windows 10 and 15.6''full HD Anti glare display... brings around 54k..With DVD Drive, Silver in colour.. I got superb support from Dell when my right arrow key wasn't working within a week of buying. They changed the total keyboard without charge it. It's best for Students, Designers & for office workers if you are finding a Budget laptop. But not for gamers. The AMD graphics makes processor hot & lags while play a high quality game. Anti glare FHDdisplay gives a vivid movie experience... Though I've contact with Microsoft,For me Windows Hello isn't working. So, no chance there to utilise the Finger-print sensor.. Is there any problem in windows with this Hello Version??? 🎊🎉Proud to be a Dell user ✌️

GOURAB MONDAL The same laptop series is sold with different specifications. What you describe is not what was shown in the video. For instance the memory capacity in the video is 256 GB SSD + 2 TB HDD, RAM is 16 GB

@@katalincsaba8378 Well...I've never had the chance to test it with 4K Videos. But I work with Adobe Premiere, Illustrator, After Effects, Lightroom and also editing audio with Pro Tools, Audition and Reaper and never had a performance issue. I only have one observation: when rendering compositions with After Effects temperatures goes above 88º. But I don't know if other laptopts has much lowers numbers in this matter. In any case, I think, after a year must be better laptops in the market. Maybe Geek Street can say something about it. I hope you find this usefull.

If you know how to properly tune power profiles, you can prevent it from overheating. But I wouldn't recommend binge-watching if it only lasts for 4 hours on a charge.

HI! I would like to ask if it is much harder to clean install windows on this machine... I reformulate better, in my experience, Dell UEFI based laptops are really hard to clean install compared to other UEFI laptop such as MSI or HP... Could you tell me if there are additional trick aside from setting "safeboot /OFF" and putting your install device as first on boot? Cheers

This laptop is not for gaming, the games you mentioned will probably work but the fps would be low. You would want to get a laptop with a better graphics card.

You forget one VERY IMPORTANT piece of information that potential buyers of this computer want to know: How long does the battery last on a full charge before needing to be "plugged up" again? Yes, I know it depends on if you are a "gamer" or just someone surfing the web and sending emails. Nevertheless, this is a crucial piece of information that needs to be stated here. For me, a laptop may have all the great "bells and whistles" along with every option under the sun, but if it only lasts an hour or two then it is not worth purchasing (may as well get a desktop Aurora R7 if one does not mind being confined to a desk). Battery options? Does Dell offer the option of upgrading the battery to a 6 or 9 cell (I assume this is a 3 cell)? People want to know these things. Yes, I could go about researching these topics on my own, but then again that is why I click on these review and testing videos in the first place.
