After a quick stop at Mitsuri's stretching session, Tanjiro finally gets to Iguro's training from hell!! Jealous of our boy's relationship with his crush, the Snake Hashira puts Tanjiro through a rough time and it doesn't get better as we then move on to the Wind Hashira, who looks like he hates us just as much as he does his brother D: (But is it truly hate...or is Sanemi trying to keep Genya safe? Hmmmm)

This arc was so short, so during episodes 3 and 4 was actually add-on stuff, and there isn't much to Mitsura training it's just stretching really so they couldn't add much more to that and the Hashira will get more fleshed out si no need to worry about that

A lot of scenes in this arc is anime only cause in the manga this arc was soooo short. Like that fight between Tengen and Tanjiro wasn’t in the manga and much more scenes. Next arc we will get to see much more from the Hashira :) Also, you truly amaze me with your analysis. Other reactors just hate on Sanemi. Sanemi and Genya’s relationship is truly heartbreaking. But as you said, both has reasons. They are both desperate and hurt.

10:50 what do you mean sanemi hasnt take on a member of the 12 kizuki? you know that the requirement to become a hashira is to defeat a member of the 12 kizuki right. you might dislike Sanemi, but he is the second strongest hashira for a reason.

I don't dislike sanemi, I forgot that was a requirement (although apparently it's either kill a Kizuki or at least 50 demons to become a hashira, so I guess he could've become one without facing a single kizuki) and I was talking about what he himself said at the beginning of the arc about not getting to face a kizuki. I assumed he meant he had never faced one. I'm not saying he isn't strong, either

27:58 imo this episode could feel jarring in terms of pacing because they went from more to less instead of less to more like the manga. and it was so sudden that you feel like you would've liked to spend more time with some Hashira and not like you're having extra content for the ones you don't know. in the manga, Tengen's training is 5 panels, Muichirō's and Mitsuri's are two pages, Iguro's 6 pages and then Sanemi's a whole chapter. here they added a lot for both Tengen's and Muichirō's, Iguro's also got some extra (tho minor really) and Sanemi's was pretty faithful to the manga, so it feels that they did Mitsuri kinda dirty tbh. i personally liked this ep, because we got more Hashira and imo another "calm episode" would've felt repetitive, but i totally understand the feeling of it being rushed, because it kinda is. for a manga reader i think this arc feels more like we're being spoiled with extra content (Giyū's ep also got some extra), but for an anime only it feels jarring. also, Chris is spot on about Sanemi's and Genya's relationship and their feelings! i swear so many fans, even manga readers, misunderstand the point of those brothers. it's not supposed to be a "who's right?" and "who has "good intentions"?", because "good intentions" ultimately don't matter if you're breaking the heart of the person you supposedly care about. the fact that those brothers can't reconcile is a tragedy, is a cautionary tale to be more mindful about how you handle your relationships and feelings. i feel ppl been sleeping on these videos, you deserve more views! your discussions are great!

After editing the episode, I could see how much story we still got with both Sanemi and Iguro and I'm pretty satisfied with both, all things considered, but yeah, Mitsuri felt rushed xD I think the shock mostly came from the sudden switch between the previous episodes, all focused on a single character, and this one, who had 3 😅 but it teased their characters enough that we wanna see more, and that's good ;)

@@kyuujinreacts yeah, that switch was odd. even more considering that the first ep went through like 3 manga chapters. so then having 3 slow-paced episodes and then another fast-paced felt kinda strange xd

I'm sorry but hurting someone's feelings in order to protect is something that is ideal. What's best for someone overrides how they feel about it. It's like me saying I shouldn't tell my best friend that he's girlfriend is cheating on him because it will hurt his feelings. And im assuming that you've read the manga so it would've genuinely been better if he quit the corps.

@@JJ-pf9fz i get where you're coming from, but i disagree. i'm not saying you should never ever hurt the feelings of a loved one, eventually you probably will. i'm saying _intentionally_ hurting the feelings of a loved one despite your good intentions is bad. and Sanemi is not only doing that, he's taking the choice away from that loved one. you don't get to decide what's best for the ppl you care about and just cut ties, especially when that person wants to be with you, that's not selfless, that's selfish.
@felipeaquitral

@@JJ-pf9fz (and this is only for manga readers) . . . . in the end it doesn't help you and doesn't help the person you love either, as is patently shown in the manga. because Sanemi learned the hard way that he should've told Genya how much he cared about him, he should've reconcile and enjoy their lives together, not away from each other. the moral of the story is not that Genya should've stayed away from the Corps, is that both brothers cared for each other in similar ways (both wanted to protect the other) but none of them told the other so that's why it ended that way. it was a tragedy because of miscommunication, not death.
