This man was such a part of my childhood. Watched everyday after school.

What I found interesting is his remembrance of being young and how he was taught certain skills. My father who's 86 speaks just like this and helped raise my two sons. My son's now almost 40, have skills that many men their age have no clue. BTW I was not offended in any way shape or form the way this man spoke. He sounded like an honest straight shooter.

What an AWESOME interview! I'm in my mid 50s, Sanford & Son was huge in my growing up... I still watch it. I have great respect for Mr. Wilson. Shows like that helped me to not see color as I grew up.

I’m 47 and I was in the Boy Scouts, took wood shop, home economics, camped in the woods and I have been in the military 26 years now and the amount of skills that I have I would never sell my soul for the entertainment industry.
