To be fair, the weed kid, while irresponsible, was far from entitled. The kid was respectful, complied with every request the officer made and didn't caused a ruckus even when learning he was going to jail. I would assume the way he behaved played a major role on the other charges being dropped and only getting probation for the DUI.

Was arrested myself, I was compliant, and used my rights of remaining silent at a certain point. Why? Cuz I understand that if I lie to a cop or resist, I could potentially makes things worse for myself. And guess what happened to me... They let me go with a citation with a court summons. They took it easy on me and for that alone I am grateful. They gave me a chance cuz only thing I have is just moving violations, speeding basically, but nothing too crazy. And it's all thanks to these kinds of videos.

You may have done this before...as a school teacher it is a requirement to have a higher intelligence so I'm not going to underestimate yours. Google "worlds youngest killers" and their prison sentences. If they believe being a minor is any excuse they are sadly mistaken. I haven't actually went so far as to do a search on a state by state comparison (for the US) is I could be mistaken for some states. And obviously I am ignorant of laws on a global scale I have no idea how the world handles crimes by minors elsewhere.

It always seems that the drivers are the only ones to walk away unscathed. I read something saying that they usually do better because they are so unaware of what's going on that they don't physically react like a normal person. They don't tense up like the victims do. They're all floppy so they don't get as hurt. I don't know if that's true, but I thought it was a pretty interesting idea.

I'd be surprised if it didn't happen because the female cop was quite aggressive from the get-go.

Just like when they said it makes people commit murders, no, just the person who committed the murders admitted to smoking weed. They would have committed the murders either way, just a bad person. My doctor put me on Xanax for sleep about 20 years ago, and after 1 night, I said no way am I taking that again, it drags you right out, and you have a type of hangover from it. You remain really foggy from it, so I can understand her being like that. I used it as prescribed, and it was still too much. Awful stuff.
