Everyone who is saying Joe Dart is nothing special should be watching tennis or something. It's not a sport and he is able to play very funky lines that speak to classic funk with great feel that makes audiences sing his baselines. npr Tiny Desk from 2011 has Chris Thile with Yo-Yo Ma, Edgar Meyer and Stuart Duncan - the music is rather grassroots sounding (a style I would not listen to that much) but it grooves and the performers have such a good time that they could be playing absolutely anything and it would sound fantastic. Great stuff.

Just discovered the Dart about a week or two ago. I'm like, how did this guy escape my attention!? A random video just popped up in my feed one day and, here I am. LOL.
