Dhal Puri

These Delicious Dhal Puri are easy to make and are so soft and Mouthwatering.
Ingredients
2 Cups Flour ( Half Tsp Baking Powder, 1/4 Tsp Sugar, 1/4 Tsp Salt)
2 Tbls Oil
3 Cups Water
Half Tsp Turmeric
2 Cups Arhar dal (Half Tsp Turmeric 2 Cloves Garlic, 3 Tbls Green Coriander)
Three Quarter Tsp Roasted Cumin

Very very good ma learnt to make this in can from her worker in side was put either a goat curry or chicken now 50 years later known as a wŕap thank you now i will make them god bless you

Kolkata dhal puris are small and deep fried, but these are really good. Will definitely try it. Thanks. ❤

Yes my parents from Calcuta and mum would make smaller. Puri's are smaller and paratha same but make bigger, like Pearl has done. Plus mum would deep fry. Most delicious eaten with a cup of tea! 👌🏼 Your dahl puris still look so delicious Pearl and I'm definitely going to have a go at making like you have as less fattening your way 😊

Thanks for sharing this method. Normally, I do the Calcutta method by making it a pui size and deep frying it. I will try your method as it is less oily. Thanks.

Dal roti. An unusual roti for me. In Maharashtra, they make Puram poli. Sweet dal packed pretty much rhe same way you’ve filled these rotis. Thank you Pearl. Must try this over the weekend. God bless you.

Hello ma'am I'm sorry but this is not Puri it is actually roti puri is made in deep fried oil I will just sort I'll let you know because people can be mistaken and think you're making the wrong recipe I do apologise if I have said anything wrong but I just thought I would let you know but your daal is very nice

It’s ok I’m glad you telling me and I don’t mind, but this is called dalroti as well as dalpuri depending on different areas 🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽
