the shell has "strategic flex points" to make it light. Supposedly they made it flex in spots where people don't put pressure on so it doesn't affect performance. They said something about the shell will always snap back and not break, assuming you aren't gripping it that hard like that

After owning 3 finalmouse and with a ULX on the way, their batteries never really have problems staying down and thats with intense use over about a year and a half of every day usage. Also i think one thing everyone should consider whilst buying a finalmouse is the resell value, if you manage to pick one up in a drop and find out its not really for you, most of the time youre able to get more than your money back through ebay or stockx. If you end up enjoying the mouse even better.

My copy M2 button has a huge issue where i think the plunger or whatever mechanism has moved or misaligned because the clicks are very inconsistent now. Very spongey. Its been a week since i sent support a message and no one has gotten back yet. Definitely my final finalmouse

boardzy also mentioned a grinding mouse click on his Batch 1 ULX. Can you maybe try to figure out from what batch your ULX is from? I think Batch 1 vs Batch 2 are major difference (sadly!)

Ive got mine a few days ago ( 2nd batch ) and im totaly happy rn. I used the superlight before and wanted to try a smaller mouse cause i like fingertip grip, so i bought the small ( cheetah ) version. didnt checked the exact weight but i instantly noticed the big weight difference between my superlight and the ulx. i dont have a problem with flex parts of the mous and overall i have to say, the mouse feels great for me.

I've heard a lot of good things about the BeastX mouse, so much so that it seems like an even better mouse than this one. And that's wild considering BeastX is the first mouse from an previously unknown company(WLMouse). Personally I don't want to spend so much on a mouse, whether I can afford it or not. I'm using the Zaopin Z1 pro on 4k and its so good that I haven't considering switching, and if I do it definitely wont be a finalmouse. The BeastX seems much more appealing for less money.

Bought myself the ULX and it's a perfect mouse for me. Tried over 100 mice before.

This was my first finalmouse, and although I like it, it definitely does not FEEL like a mouse at the it's price point. The Mouse1/2 buttons are very unstable and shift back and forth.. the wheel has a cheap springy feel to it that I don't enjoy.. however I do like the shape, and the weight.. I'll continue using it, but I might just resell it and use the X2v2 instead, or try a BeastX

I do own a ULX, and it has really bad side flex (just resting my pnky on it causes flex). I have a shipping label to send it back, but haven't gone that route yet. Mine weighs 38.5g. My Beast X however, is rock solid, and weighs 39g. There is no reason that they had to go with carbon at that weight. For .5g they could have still had magnesium and not had to worry about all the growing pains. If someone were to ask me, I would always direct them to the Beast X over the ULX, it's just not worth it.

I actually really like mine (batch 3). Have to say, the internal side grips are a must for comfort.

Used the air58 ninja for a while and loved it. Clicks were not the best, and the scroll wheel was trash, and the ninja branding was cringe, but the ergonomics and weight felt amazing. The holes also helped a ton with sweaty hands- I didn’t get them anymore. My partner uses it now and it’s still great. Recommended the ULX to his brother, and he’s had it since February and absolutely loves it. No issues. Maybe both of us are extremely lucky, but we like these mice.

I had to replace my Superlight 1 under warranty twice. My Superlight 2 is only 3-4 months old I got it on release and it already needs to be replaced due to scroll wheel issues. Not even Logitech gets it right these days.

I would never buy this at full price, but I managed to get a deal for one at $120 CAD or $90 USD. the original buyer bought like 2 of each size or something insane like that. its on its way now and I'm excited to try it given how much I paid.

I was in the first batch, I've had no problems with mine. I don't really agree with the title, because I've had nothing but a good experience using the ULX. Like the way it looks, feels, and performs. I can see how if you didn't get a good copy than it's warranted, but they also said you can RMA it if unhappy with your copy. In my opinion this video comes across as nitpicking. Just my opinion, but I would definitely get another.

im from the first batch of the ulx drop, my mouse felt perfect out the box, over the week it had developed a terribly loud creaking and sideflexing, reached out to finalmouse, think it took a day or so for them to get back, said it was under warranty, gave my info, got back to me in a few hours with a label, sent it off next day, had it back in like 4 days, the sideflex is gone, it does still have flex in the shell on the back and by the triggers but the mouse feels solid for me and im avging jade on voltaic with it. so far im happy it was kinda shit at first but this mouse performs great, battery lasts forever and i use it 24/7, its lighter than my v2 pro even with weight mods on it, i feel like the triggers could be a tad lighter and crisper for the weight. but yeah over all im satisfied.

Seeing how split the community is on this mouse being great, okay(?), and straight bad is surprising because it's almost never consistent with any opinion and almost seeming like a lottery in terms of QC of this mouse. I am hopeful my copy will be one of those grails but if it's not, considering the price this will be my first and last copy from final mouse until the future promises a consistent QC.

That's absolutely disgusting. I was just looking at the price of them here in Australia, the cheapest is $480aud with the most expensive at $615aud, depending on where you get it from. For reference, Razer has always been the king of overpriced PC peripherals and they're most expensive mice are the Deathadder V3 Pro at $270, Basilisk V3 at $300. The Viper Signature was around $360aud I believe, still not even close to the minimum price of an Ultralight X.

I've had 4 Logitech Superlights, 3 of them the battery came unstuck and rattles around. So far the Superlight V2 is fine, but yeah, it's a problem on these mice.

I’ve owned a white black and pink superlight they all had problems with lose battery, double click, and side buttons getting stuck in the shell. I have a viper v2 with the 4k dongle it has spin outs. All mice have qc issues I have never owned a final mouse but I don’t understand all the hate they get all mice company’s have qc issues.

Bro you're not going to hold your mouse on the top anyways. Why does it matter if it flexes there? They also did that to lose the weight. It's a good decision. It only rlly needs to be rock solid on the sides tbh. I've been using mine for a few weeks and I've had 0 issues. This is such a nit picky review. Like it's a 38g mouse they obv need to make some kind of optimization to achieve that kind of weight. This is by far the best mouse I've used. I hit higher scores in Kovaak's immediately after getting this mouse and my aim feels much crispier. It was 100% worth it. If you're rlly trying to go for build quality then go buy a gpro or viper. An ultralight mouse is just not going to be for u.

I wanted a Starlight TenZ to compliment my custom keyboard, but as it was out of stock, I got myself a 180 degree turn and went with the Dareu A950 Pro Al-Mg and it's the Bugatti of mice.

"rock solid" was maybe a meh way of describing the durability of the shell. rigidity is not akin to being durable, even tho so many ppl have related that term to durability. sort of like ppl using the word "virtually" incorrectly for the better part of the past 30 years. it is "solid" in terms of durability considering its harder to crack than metal. the flexibility helps with keeping the shell from cracking. "rock", uhh ya rocks are brittle and can be chipped away at and also crack easily. that all said, its been more of poor use of vocabulary to describe the mouse. from the manufacturer to the reviewers. all on top of the fact that even w/o good description, so many ppl are inexperienced with the properties of carbon fiber and the ways its stitched, molded, etc (used in other molding methods). expecting the material NOT to flex is just lacking knowledge of carbon fiber. coming from the automotive world, and looking at their examples of the raw unpainted shell, it was easy enough for me personally to abduct that this shell wasn't going to have high rigidity. its not surprising average joes are going to have near 0 or 0 ways to come to the same conclusion. and that's where FM should've come in to explain that from the get go. but, they're also probably scared that average jobbers will react like monke and swing their arms around about why the shell flexes, which they did. but should it deter you from using it? and does it flex in a way that affects your in-game performance? no. and no. why? because if you're gripping this like the jaws of life, that's a skill issue. imagine using all your strength with a friend to tighten lug nuts with a fucking torque wrench. you're going to break it, and its not intended to be used that way. tools require specific ways to be used. if you're gripping it like you're trying to break it, its going to feel weird, and you're going to give yourself tendonitis. after years of playing with a mouse, i've never once had any type of wrist pain because i'm playing with proper ergonomics and not vice gripping my fucking mouse. apparently most ppl don't do this. just grip the mouse with enough pressure that it doesn't fall out of your hand when you lift it. that's it. and the shell flex will make little to no difference.

Finalmouse is an uncredible company. The pricing is high but it's still so similar to a superlight x, the ulx is still better then a superlight even with those issue. I hope they get resolved in the future. I think the company really screwed up the marketing this time
