Diana Ross set to celebrate her 80th birthday 'with a party to remember' and have the ultimate A-list guest list... topping her iconic 75th bash....
Singing legend Diana Ross is celebrating her 80th birthday this weekend with a party that ‘will be something to be remembered', according to her son Evan Ross.
The Supremes icon, 79, set the bar high with her 75th birthday bash in 2019 - which saw Beyoncé sing Happy Birthday, whilst Diana performed a private concert featuring five wardrobe changes.
The previous bash include guests such as: Kim Kardashian , Stevie Wonder, Leonardo DiCaprio, Heidi Klum, Chris Rock and Sean Combs.
Ahead of his mother's 80th birthday bash, Evan said: 'I think she’s going to go all in, which is exciting.'
Private jets are flying a star-studded galaxy of guests to Ross' $ 24million Quarry Farm estate in Connecticut where her 11-bedroom, 12,562 sq ft mansion is hosting the festivities.
At an age when others might be reaching for their slippers and a rocking chair, the entertainer shows no sign of slowing down.
Diana's Music Legacy Tour, which played in Europe and the UK last year, continues across America with shows in eight cities over 11 days in May - a gruelling pace at any age.
"I want to do it, so it’s not really work. When I walk out on the stage, I'm really having fun', she previously told Interview magazine.
It’s a work ethic that has earned Diana 18 No.1 hits including Aint No Mountain High Enough, Touch Me In The Morning and I'm Coming Out.

Amazingly, Diana - who looks half her age - was named as the new face of Saint Laurent’s Spring 2024 campaign in January.
She appears on billboards looking svelte and sexy in a body-hugging black off-the-shoulder halter neck dress, her raven mane framing a face barely marked by wrinkles, despite years of hardship and anguish.
Raised in poverty in urban Detroit, Michigan, Diana endured decades of struggle, sexism and exploitation in the music industry and Hollywood, only to emerge as the ultimate survivor.
She is worth an estimated ( underestimated ) $ 500 millions, with mansions in Los Angeles, Connecticut and Florida, but looking back on her career she insists: 'I didn’t do it for the money. I did it for the love of the work, the singing.'
Diana attributes her youthful looks to a healthy lifestyle.
Her singer-songwriter daughter Rhonda revealed: 'There’s no partying, no groupies, no fans on the bus, no drinking or drugging. Our meals are regular and sleep is surprisingly regular.'
Diana has put behind her the hard-partying ways that saw her arrested for driving under the influence while attending an Arizona rehab clinic for substance abuse in 2002, and sentenced to two days imprisonment.
When not touring, Diana tries to be in bed by 9pm, rising refreshed at 7am, for an early workout in her home gym.
"I sleep well. I read positive-thinking books before bed, so that good thoughts are in my head. I really don’t read a lot of fiction. I read gardening and cookbooks', Diana said.
She eats lightly through the day, and spends time with her three daughters and seven grandchildren to charge her emotional batteries.
Her beauty regime is minimal, consisting of sunscreen, eyeliner, and washing her makeup off each night with soap and water.
I never like to think of myself as beautiful', she once said. 'I like to think of myself as healthy. Beauty comes from being healthy. It means being a good person, having integrity and loyalty and being true to your work.'
She watches her diet carefully, having become anorexic in the 1960s as the Supremes became mired in warring egos, despite hits including Baby Love and Stop! In The Name of Love.
‘Sometimes the stress got so bad, I couldn’t eat,’ she confessed. ‘I just couldn’t swallow anything.’
Ross occasionally takes an intermittent fast to help boost her metabolism, drinking only lemon-infused water and vegetable broth.
The Supremes fought behind the scenes as Diana took centre stage, and in 1970 she quit the trio.
Portrayed by her fellow Supremes as self-important and manipulative, abandoning the group to promote her own career, Diana hit back: ‘People will always try to blame someone else for why their life is not working.'
She enjoyed spectacular solo success in the disco glitter-ball era, and in 1972 made her Hollywood debut playing Billie Holiday in biographical movie Lady Sings The Blues.
