It's because it's a safe labour seat. This constituency has always returned a Labour MP since 1950. You could put a house brick up for Labour MP and it would win.

Spot on, she's an idiot. Her entry into Cambridge to study history is a farce. In the quiz show 'Fifteen to One' she couldn't identify what century the French Revolution occurred. I don't think she got one answer correct. Embarrassing.
