I had a lot of hope because David has, in the past, recalled things Bob has said in previous episodes. But in this case, he failed to remember that in Bob's "I do my own dentistry" story, he revealed that he had "one large tooth", by which he meant his top teeth were one stretch of false teeth.

Yeah, if one looks at the video clip from that episode, the motion across his teeth that he does there remarkably well traces the teeth that he counts here. His literal description was "one very long piece of teeth". It's a pretty safe bet that it was that piece that came loose, and nothing more. One could say that Bob is kinda lying, but David is to blame for not remembering.

@@PorkchopsJohnson I feel like what most people are impressed with with Claudia is when she makes a truth seem like a lie, but I find that to just be obnoxious and not in the spirit of the game at all. It's easy to just dodge questions and sound shaky. She has had some instances where she has told very good lies, so I'm not saying I don't think she's any good, but for me it's nothing like Bob Mortimer.

So it seems Fuji 9 doesn't hold it very well after all. 😁 How can David forget that Bob performs his own dentistry? Using Fuji 9, with a special spoon with two ends, a little end and a big end. And that his front teeth are all one piece, a bridge. And his teeth are in such poor shape because he used to drink tea with 17 sugars in it. He said 18 spoons were too sweet for him.

I really think his is the best show on TV, and I'm American. This is a show that is always entertaining and always appropriate for the whole family. Everyone in my house watches it together, and there isn't another show that we all do that for. And Bob is my favorite...well, Bob and Claudia Winkelman.

It wasn't the dentistry so much that convinced me, it was knowing he had false teeth and Bob leading them to the answer by asking about 3 teeth. He tried to help them. Plus, it's Bob and a story about teeth, so of course it's true.

I was never a fan of Reeves & Mortimer (just not my humour, sorry) but when Bob started appearing on WILTY his personality really came to the fore and he quickly became the best guest ever, with Henning Wehn (another master storyteller) coming a close second. Just brilliant!

I wonder if David gets any solace from the fact that it’s all about him. All those talented people in front and behind the camera, everyone who has some part of the process of making this show, are all contributing to the single goal of booking Bob as often as possible and making sure that he’s sitting in that seat, and that he’s the one reading off the card. 😂

Bob Mortimer is just fantastic as always. His mind games on David were a joy to watch, and I look forward to seeing more in the future. I have noticed recently that the show seems to be a lot less in content. There was a time when we got so much more than we do now. Come on BBC don't leave the unbroadcast bits out. I love all the guests but BOB is just SUPERB !!!..........He is by far my favourite..........Not getting to see this show much because I am in Australia, its mostly on KZfaq......but I love the show. The banter between Lee and David is wonderful too !!!.. I wonder if it is a coincidence that BOB always sits to Lee's left ??
