Yes, and once the British evicted the French. Some of the French took their slaves-many from both Mali , Ghana, Nigeria and Madagascar-to New Orleans Lousiana where they were often sold to South Carolina, depending on their agricultural expertise. The records are still in Mauritius and the slaves transported also have documentation with their names and ages written on it in our archives, because the French didn't change names.

Mauritius is the only place where (as a dark skinned 19yo African woman) I've ever experienced outright, blatant racism...from a dark skinned Indian! Lol. He basically threw my change at me with contempt. It was bizarre. Also some nuns came into my room and forcibly injected/vaccinated me 😳 Hopefully a Mauritian can explain this practice to me. I question why they had to bring African Slaves from Madagascar or any other country in Africa as I am pretty sure the Aboriginals of Mauritius were already black, the constant saying that when you find Blacks in certain countries they were brought there. This is a tactic to deny the Aboriginals of that land their rightful inheritance claim to the land, A lot of why in some places you see less Blacks is because many of the Black Aboriginal were killed fighting the invasion of their lands and many probably died from harsh conditions during slavery not to mention the caste system after slavery, different forms of Eugenics, and even self hatred that was created due to the caste system where many of the Black Aboriginals chose to marry or procreate with other ethnic groups of lighter hue or the dominant ethnic groups that created Mulattoes and even force rape by the Colonizers. You have to think they went through 3 different European Colonizers and even had to deal with the import of Asian migrants, so all this would have taken a heavy toll on the Aboriginal population. Many of them probably don't even know their own Aboriginal history because many children were separated from their parents during slavery and many of their elders died from war and diseases so often the children were not taught who they were, and only knew what the Colonizers told them they were, and ain't no enslaving Colonizers going to inform you are the Aboriginal or original owners of that land.

Nice to see a vlog on Mauritius, it’s often forgotten because how far it is away from the mainland of Africa, but this is a country that can claim Africa or Asia and should be entitled to do so. For me no where is home, the world is the home wherever I lay my head. The soul is a traveler and claims no where to be home because everything in life is temporary. I love the Nigerian brother's response about the people, he says "you get different reactions from different people", he never painted the entire people to be racist. Nice mixture of people, It’s beautiful. Happy for your experience 😊

Really need to view the births, deaths and migration patterns over several years to be able to answer the question. In many countries, there is a concerted systemic effort to ensure that the Black people remain a "minority" in either terms of numbers and/or economically and/or via their mindset! Hence, when GoBlack stated that everything is "peaceful", that can also mean that the African presence is in its "place" and that Africans do not desire to obtain economic control! Most interesting is to determine amongst all of the 54 African countries, the diversity of industries and the level of ownership/vertical integration of these industries by demographics! And if Africans have true economic power and the percentage of business ownership among the African people who reside in each country. BROTHERS, SISTERS - WE CANNOT BE CONTENT WITH SIMPLY JUST TRAVELING TO THE AFRICAN COUNTRIES TO ESCAPE FOR A FEW DAYS OR WEEKS ONLY TO RETURN TO OUR COUNTRY WHERE WE CURRENTLY RESIDE! WE MUST RE-CONNECT WITH AFRICA, OUR ANCESTRAL HOME, AND BECOME ECONOMICALLY EMPOWERED AND NOT BE CONTENT WITH OTHER PEOPLE BECOMING FIRMLY ENTRENCHED ECONOMICALLY AND EXPLOIT US IN PERPETUITY - US, OUR GRANDCHILDREN, THEIR GRANDCHILDREN, ETC. ETC.!

I hope you see this. You really should do a series, informing African-American how to act in different parts of Africa, what to expect, what to do. To understand they are abroad, and is surrounded by different cultures. Failing to understand this can make life extremely difficult for Afro-Americans. You are in a position to stop the carnage.

That's cool. I like seeing folks of all different ethnicities and backgrounds chilling, getting along together in society. That's how it should be. Those who want to live amongst more of those of their own ethnicities in their own neighborhoods and such, that's also fine too. Its normal to want to propagate and be fully immersed in your own cultures, so long as you are respectful of other peoples cultures. respect our similarities and differences as we are all human and so much more similar than different. work well together for us all, in a society based on pro family values and morals and protection of children, elderly, disabled and those who truly need it. And I think this is how things would work if everyday people were allowed to set and maintain our societal code of conduct. But very limited government otherwise. It's the power hungry elite who screw everything up. Big pharma, big (fake gmo) food, the bs "global warming" now broadly labeled as "climate change" which there is variation in the earth's climate. It's not set by thermostat and maintained at steady exact temps. Its not a set standard amount of rain that falls each year. It's much cooler this summer and the past 10 summers than it was when I was a child here in SE USA. it used to commonly get up to high 90s, 100+ in the summer and the humidity was super high. But very low humidity and low 90s for high temps almost all "summer". Which comes much later and ends much sooner now. I have worn a jacket in mid to late June for the past 5 years. That is NOT normal. I go outside still in my thick housecoat in the mornings and I'm comfortable. Not sweating, NOT normal. They told me in elementary school we were DEFINITELY moving to another little ice age. It was proven accepted science at the time. I was very interested and serious about this cause I hated cold weather and wanted to know how long we had before it was cold more often than it was warm and was wondering where I could move to when I was older. By the time I was a freshman in HS they told is hairspray, cow farts and AC had set the earth on fire and we were all gonna roast alive if the hole in the ozone layer didnt kill us all 1st. I think they were closer to correct when I was in elementary school. Overall its definitely cooler. I know there are exceptions. Theres also extensive weather modification going on. Look it up on google, theyve openly admitted to trying to block the sun to keep earth from getting too hot. I know I've rambled on here, but yeah get out of mystery Babylon America and go black to Africa.

These other races are not there to co-exist in peace. They think they're superior to Africans and want to dominate them. Africans are only servants for them. I see many didn't learn from past slavery and colonization. Too many still worship and trust the oppressors.

Indians flooded the island. They didn't wipe out the Africans. So you are more than welcome to check out this beautiful island. Seychelles has a higher percentage of Africans however Indians outnumber them there too. You didn't ask that question when GoBlack was there.

@@blackcoraltv6787 When was the last time you checked, luv? Apparently you haven't checked in a minute, because there are almost 225million people in Nigeria today. So now I will have to double down on my comment. Why is a country with that many people still in a third/fourth world state? Nigerians claim to be the brightest of the bright. How is it that they can't figure out a way to bring their country up to first word status. Nigeria's infrastructure is over a hundred years behind the US. The outdoor toilets scared the daylights out of me when I was there. The roads are atrocious, and the electricity is shameful. When you are smart, you figure schitt like that out.
